  1. Maybe you didn't configured well your router the first time of something went wrong, something similar happened to me.
  2. That's what is bad about the new things: you get a cool $700 video card and in some months it's obsolete and it's costing about $100, I personally buy videocards of $200-250, I'm not going to waste my money now if I can get it 75% less tomorrow. But, hey, these new videocards are amazing, they features are great, their clock speed, but again I don't think they're worth the price, or at least you're running a website that it's about game reviews...
  3. Yup, the Laserjets are more for printing images or suchs and they're very expensive and if you have run out of toner it would be better to buy another printer instead of buying the toner, the laser printers aren't expensive, but the toner is. I suggest an inkjet printer for your home and a a laserjet if you want fast, quality prints for your business. And about the refillin I don't think it's a good choice, refill them only if you're very desperatea and can't buy the toner.
  4. Mine is a 17" FLATRON 1280x1024, it's very cool compared to my old 19" LG CRT monitor.
  5. Do you like mind-disturbing games? the ones that you're frightned to play? then this game series is for you, Fatal Frame series has a very original gameplay. in Fatal Frame I you play as Miku Hinasaki who's looking for her missing brother in a Mansion. She discovers a Camera that is capable of capturing the spirits, that camera is called The Camera Obscura. In Fatal Frame II, the twin sisters Mio & Mayu Amakura enter in the lost village, a doomed village in that the night last for eternity, Mayu it's somewhat possessed by a priestess that didn't acomplished the ritual that got the village into darkness, yo have to play as Mio to rescue her and get out of the village. In Fatal Frame III, Rei Kurosawa enters into the Manor of Sleep, which is a manor where spirits call the living. Along with Miku Hinasaki who returns as her assistant & Kei Amakura (uncle of Mio & Mayu), Rei enters to the darkest places of the manor to look for her dead fiance Yuu.Basically, is the same gameplay in the three games, defeat spirits with the camera obscura and unveil the mystery of the place where the stoy takes place. It's a scary game, the scariest I've played so far, not for not sleep but it's scary, or it's that I'm so used to horror games? Well, the decission is up to you.
  6. I would go more for the HD cuz of the price, yeah the blu-ray has more capacity but at what cost? This times are not for wasting money, but if the blu-ray is gonna be cheap I would go for the blu-ray but I don't think that that is going to happen but who knows?
  7. I just bought my 17" LCD LG FLATRON L1717S (1280x1024) monitor and it looks great. (Or it's just that I sticked with the same 19" CRT Lg monitor, dunno, but now I'm not gonna have red eyes, no more!) I heard that in a few years, the signal for CRT TV's and monitors is gonna be cut, is this true? I don't think so, what would happen to the people that still haves their CRT TV's and monitors? I don't think they would sell it cuz the signal will be cut so...
  8. Here in Mexico things are so different. I pay 400 pesos ($40) for a 512kb connection and the prices are: 1mb: $70, 1.5mb: $100 and 2mb: $500!!. Telmex is bad, really bad. And when I come to think about the prices, I seriously want to go to USA just for a cheaper Internet, well, public services. If you don't believe me here's the link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  9. definetly, gamespot is one of the best videogame sites, but the downloads are somewhat slow ir you're not a premium user. I've foun some really cool info about new technologies and games too. When I got my first computer 7 years this was the site were I looked for reviews and screenshots, and now I still browse it. long live gamespot.com
  10. Certainly, you have to be some kind of rich or just work to upgrade your PC. Ah, if I only had that THING, i think I would sell it really. How much this thing costs? I better would buy more machines to have a cyber, but maybe in the future this are not going to be a lot if we assume that some years ago there weren't 1.0ghz processors.
  11. Yeah, a Windows Cranium would be really nice, disturbing, but nice.Well I think the future technologies would be something like Exa HDD, an internally cooled 4.2 Pentabyte processor that keeps the processor at 0ยบ and DDR4, 5, 6... or a new generation umm XB Ram (XB would stand for eXtremely Big) and 1gh video cards, who knows? I mean, 7 yeas ago the fastest processor was a Pentium II. The technology advances at very huge steps.
  12. The site is nice, but even with a high-speed connection it seems a little slow. I guess that if this would be something like the next-gen website we would need a powerful machine, and a very fast connection. But, when I was browsing the site, I felt need to click something thought I didn't, I guess that my mind it's used to click every clickable-looking object/text hehe.
  13. Here in my country, some guys come with a similar article named the "Alien Ball", it's the same as the 8-ball but with the sape of a blue alien head, in the bottom of the head is the hole where you can see through. The mechanism is more simple, the ball it's just filled with the blue liquid an the thing inside just have about 8 answers and it's even cheaper ($2).
  14. Yeah, google maps are far better than msn's. It's just that microsoft wants to take over...let's say, everything.
  15. I prefer to use programs to make my PC look better like WindowBlinds. There are very cool themes. like the one I'm using named Quantria, a very nice combination of blue, black, black glass, and cyan.
  16. I will suggest you to buy all the pieces for separate and assemble your own custom computer. I think you can afford a motherboard for Pentium 4 3.2 Ghz, 1Gb DDR2 Ram, a Radeon X1800 XL videocard and a 160gb HDD, and spend the rest in the other things: monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc. Also a good sound card would be nice.I hope this'll help you.P.S. Sorry for my bad english.
  17. I never imagined that i would be watching this...
  18. Well I think that the PSP is better than the DS cuz' it's a media machine (at least it has more features than the DS),it'll be getting firmware updates to get more features. The DS by the side, well I think that the age of Nintendo has already passed over. Unafortunetly the PSP it's more expensive than the DS but it has better games like GTA.
  19. I own three flash devices:256mb Memorex512mb LG1gb LG
  20. I would reccomend you a 160gb if you're going to buy a new one since it's too little the difference in price between both.
  21. Try Daemon tools, it can emulate iso files.
  22. Processor: AMD Athlon 1.8 ghzRAM: 640 ddr mbHD: 30 gbVideocard: NVidia GeForce FX 5200 128mbSoundcard: SoundBlaster Live!LG DVDMitsumi Burner 2x Floppy CD-R Creative 48x19" Screen 1024x768Creative (Don't remember the model) speakersWinXP SP2 OS
  23. phpBB because it has a lot of hacks that can customize it to the max. I like Invision because of it's features but I haven't seen too much hacks for it and I haven't tried others so I'll stick with phpBB
  24. I think eMule is the best because it has a lot of results in a moments and it's fast too. I've tried Kazza and Imesh. None of them has a lot of results so I'll stay with eMule.
