I have a '00 VW Passat station wagen. She's a grocery-getter, but I love her to death. 1.8 Turbocharged 4 banger, soon to have a ECM reprogram. My friends nick-named her "The Bang-Wagen" no explaination is needed, i hope -
Anybody heard of this school before? I'm starting there in November, but I've heard mixed reviews about it. I'm going there for their Show Production and Touring program, but they have a lot of computer-based programs also. If anybody has any feedback, that would be awesome, because I don't want to waste 50,000+ on a bad education.

Google Does Mobile... With Free Mobile Service!

From what I understand, Google apps are featured on the iPhone. I don't have one, so I'm not sure. But, why would they release a phone to directly compete with a phone that features their software? I'm not saying that it would suck, I love free stuff. But, I highly doubt that it will go through. -
Beginners Guide To Becoming A Computer Hardware Tech
kevlar557 replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
X2!!I've been thinking about getting an a+ cert if audio engineering doesn't pan out. I saved this page to my hdd. Keep it up! -
I've got everything ready to build my new computer, except the video card, and mobo. I was looking at going dual video card, and I was wondering what you guys thing is better: Dual ATI 2900XT 512mb with Crossfire, or Dual Nvidia 8800GTX in SLI? I'm mostly going to be playing source engine games. The rest of the comp specs are:

One word: Welfare. That is why people think it's ok to become fat lazy biatches and make all the hard working people pay for your candy, and other fattening shat. I'm sick and tired of lazy black people in cleveland who drink beer and get fat off of taxpayers money.

I'm a computer tech at my school, and I know that the price for just going on the internet is not that high. Even for trying to get around the firewalls only gets you a 6 weeks loss of computer privilages. There is something you are "omitting" from your story, cuz there is no reason to get expelled for just getting on the internet.

I had this idea since I was a kid. You take a french fry, put the ketchup inside the french fry so you don't drip it when you're driving. I think it would be the greatest thing to ever hit the food industry.

Well, this would be somewhat of a vent, mut it is more related to music then anything else, so I'll save the mods trouble, and post it in here.Anyway, I'm the sound guy for my band. Lucky for me, I don't have any equipment. I've been looking, and everything is so frakking expensive. A pair of PA speakers can cost about $300 for a crappy pair. I have less than two weeks to buy an entire PA/DJ system. I'm just going to list the stuff I need, and I'll put the price next to it.Mackie 1604-VLZ PRO mixer : $300-$500 on ebay, $850 in retail storesQSC USA 900 Power Amp : $100-$250 on ebayPA speakers : $200-$600 on ebay for decent brand, $500-$1000 in retail storesThank god I don't have to worry about mics or cables, or I'll have to take out a loan. I'm going to have to sell numerous electronic devices, including a computer in order to make enough money to buy this stuff. Does anybody know a good place to get quality, cheap sound equipment in Northern Ohio/Southern PA area?
