Everyone has their own preferences but my favourite one will be Motorola for its excellent hardware (but buggy firmware for example; the e398 but there is already a "i398" under development out there and the version one is already out. It has video recording and some other fixes. For something that is more stable than this and the default firmware, get the v398), Nokia for its reliability (say for example, the 6020 and 3120. These are the only two models I am intending to buy from Nokia), Sony Ericcsion for its price and feature-rich k series. (I am against the keypad; collects dirt easily.) I am planning to get (depends on my savings so the most expensive one will be up first) a phone by the end of this year and they're; Panasonic VS2, Motorola V3 RAZR Special Editio BLK, Samsung E640, Nokia 6020, Motorola e398 and finally, the 3120. (Based on 2-year plans with the last three without contracts. May throw in some more phones ).

Email Clients Which One Do You Trust For Security?
acrylic replied to Anndi's topic in Security issues & Exploits
If you ask me, I don't think there is a need for added/improved security features as long as you're not using the email for business or other important purposes. (Unless you're working with some goverment with classified documents, I'm sure the goverment will take steps to provide you with an internet security suite and a custom email client and service. That's what my uncle got.) As a student, I have nothing to hide so I'm using GMail for most of my newsletters and registrations and register it with .NET Passport to chat on MSN. (Most Singaporeans use MSN Hotmail.) I will be reconsidering Yahoo! since it does have alot of features such as a Yahoo! Auctions and even Geocities. (I know that they actually screwed it up but it'll still be fine.) -
A war between the United States of America and China will most likely result in a thermonuclear war or simply, a nuclear exchange between two superpowers. It's true that the USA has more allies than China such as the European Union but everyone should know that they are also dependant on China and I doubt they will actually stand along the USA if there is going to be a war. Remember the arms embargo placed by the United Nations? France has been leading the appeal to drop the embargo whereas the US is trying to stop it. (I think it suceeded because Britain is a USA's closest ally and it's inevitable that the British will support US's decision) Only one nation in the world has its troops worldwide and that'll be US (again) and they have actually set the rules for modern warfare. Only the US is allowed to position its naval fleet anywhere in the world. Anyway, I think the USAF is a little overstretched and the PLA even has more manpower than all the National Guards and regulars combined. (My opinion only)No offense to any Chinese or Americans out there. Although I'm a Singaporean Chinese, I believe our political ties with the US is much stronger and it's Uncle Sam that keeps us safe.

There are many other free forum softwares out there such as Beehive Forum .6.1 and myTopix. I personally like Invision Power Services such as its Board, Dynamic, Gallery and Blog but like many users, the price tag turns people off. (Actually, I can't even afford any in the first place since I'm still a student!) For those who don't want to make a run for their money, InvisionBoard 1.3 is available free and there are many sites such as Invisionize that allows you to make your version 1.3 of the board to have a version 2.x look. InvisionFree is another great alternative if you don't have a host.
