That's not quite true, why would christianity not accept women? and Open minded individuals? even questions?? You really offend me as a christian. We accept women, we have ALOT of open minded individuals who go to China and preach. We ask millions of questions and discussions. And no, you don't go to hell if you don't do as the church says. Who said that? I don't listen to the church, I don't always do as the church tells me to.

Now heres my answer to anwiii:

    You're not the only one
Even I like skulls, it shows a long time's history, it represents war, and it used to be a living thing.
I like skulls too, I enjoy looking at skull pocket watches, necklaces, etc. So, don't worry, its not your problem, its the other Christians who dislike you liking skulls, but which in a way thinking that you "praise" the skull.
That is what they are afraid of.

i am confused. if you like skulls, why wouldnt' you hang out with other people who like skulls? is there something wrong with those people? :)i think people look too deep in to things just to conclude something that isn't even there. i don't think it's a christian issue. in fact, there is nothing wrong with taking an interest in skulls. you said it yourself. YOU are a christian and like skulls. i think it's more of a people preference. to me, an interest in skulls is no darker than working around dead bodies, but someone has to. i think harlot is correct. skulls can be related to witchcraft or "magik" but that doesn't mean that someone who is intrigued by skulls is in to witchcraft. it's pointless to make comparisons that lead nowheremy point is, as long as you are a good person with good morals and values(i know it's all relative. i don't want to debate those words or define them), then i don't see how being intrigued by skulls is a bad thing whether you are a christian, or even a witch. it's ok to have strange tastes that don't get accepted in general society. plus, if people tend to just follow the crowd, they would be boring.....but accepted :)just be yourself and don't worry so much about what others think....

In my opinion, Christians don't accept skulls because it is too closely connected with evil, death, and destruction. Its all symbolism, and symbols have strong undertones for many people. Just look at the U.S. flag, and you can see how strong symbols are. I would have to ask you why do you like skulls? What is it about skulls that you like? Is there some kind of symbolization going on there? A skull is the head of someone or something that is dead and has deteriorated. What is so amusing about that? Also, as the person state above, skulls are closely affiliated with witch craft. If you watch a witch movie, or any movie that is associated with darkness and evil, you are likely to see a skull. I will admit that I am currently stereotyping witches. I am not sure if Wiccans use skulls as symbols or within their worshiping process. However, I have a better example. Look at Satanist. They certainly use skulls within their worst, along with blood and in some cases animal sacrifices. I can only think of one case where Christians actually view skulls as acceptable, and that is for a hunting trophy. Like the head or skull of a deer or some other animal that was killed during the hunting season. Any kind of skull outside of that of a deer or other large animal that is typically hunted, is out of the question. This is primarily true for human skulls. They are really out of the question. Then again, we may also be stereotyping Christians. You stated that you are a Christian and that you like skulls. Perhaps you are simply in the wrong church and need to find a different group of people to worship with.
