Yesterday my system cannot detect my DVD ROM. I have NEC ND-3540A DVD ROM. In My Computer there isn't my DVD-ROM drive, but my drive is OK, I can open it with button on DVD drive. Also in Device Manager is situation like in this attachment. As you can see in drives at CD/DVD Rom section have !, also it says that drivers for DVD-ROM are not ok, but there isn't need for DVD-ROM drivers on XP. I found firmware for my drive, but I can't install because he can't find my drive... Right now i checked my BIOS, and there he detects DVD-ROM, BIOS can detect, but Windows XP can't. Can you help me?
