I nearly drowned a few times when I was young, one of those times I was by myself. But those were minor compared to a car wreck I was in in 1988 (senior in H.S.)One night after a party broke up, my friend wanted to show me how well his Mazda RX-7 handled, so we headed to a local stretch of road that had lots of nice curves to test his car's performance - (sounded like a good idea at the time) -_-Anyway, before we even made it to our destination my friend started passing 3 & 4 cars a time @ 90mph down a 35mph street. Without goining on-and-on with the details, I'll just say he lost control, spun it, flipped it, went air-born, and dropped it in a drainage ditch. It was totaled & completly unrecognizable. Amazingly We both walked away, but I shouldn't have even tried - because I crushed one vertabrae and fractured two others. I'm lucky I didn't damage my spinal cord by standing up and walking accross the street. I was in the hospital for only 3 weeks, and I nearly failed my senior year due to being laid up for a month and half.My friend was banged up, but nothing broken.A year later he totaled another car on the same stretch of road.

I see where the "Dark" part on your screen name comes from.Have you no use for "Hope"? Another option: You could just take battery operated speargun and go fishing. and just because it's deserted, doesnt mean it doesn't have water - (although that wasn't originally defined) - it could, like the tv show "Lost". my 2 cents....

I don't see how a spellcheck feature would work here. I mean so many people like to use "alternative" spellings of words - u no whut I meen? A spellcheck feature would drive them crazy. Hmmmm... On second thought,.... maybe the hassle of fighting the spellcheck feature would eventually break them - and then would be forced to conform to spelling properly. - BRILLIANT!!! - MUUHaHaHA <Maniacal Laugh>

Close - You were right next to itIn 1Thessalonians 4:16 talks about how the Lord himself will, with a shout or command, have the dead - that lived in Christ - rise first. Then the next verse (17) - "After that we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." Matthew Chapt 24 - 25 is mostly Jesus warning of his return. And more precisely: Matt 24:40-41 Uses examples of how if two people working together - one might get taken and the other left. Matt 25:31-46 Is Jesus using a metaphor or parable to explain how he will, upon his return, seperate the good from the bad. There are a whole bunch of prophesies on the Lord's return, but these are the only ones I could find on people disappearing or being taken. There is a novel series on the subject called: "Left Behind". I think they made a movie about it as well.

Kudos to you!I believe that whether it?s spelling, grammar, posture, clothes, etc. ? all of it obviously represents you ? your outward appearance ? how you are perceived by other people. Which of course isn?t necessarily accurate. For example: Bad posture doesn?t always mean a person has low self esteem, that person may be super confident, but it sure doesn?t look that way from the outside.The important thing is how the bad posture eventually makes that person feel. Bad habits like that, over time, can take it?s toll ? make a confident person feel not so confident.Or in your case, if everyone points out, and complains about your spelling & makes you feel stupid ? eventually you might start feeling stupid.It also has to do with taking pride in your work ? and there?s nothing wrong with that! Also, you'll need the proper spelling skills to get ahead in the business world.I'm sure there are many more reasons...Keep working to break the bad habit now before it?s a permanent aspect of your personality.Hmm... this is starting to sound like a lecture. What I don't get is, if choosing from these types of cars s you dilemma, then why are you here at Xisto? ? most of us here are posting for free web hosting. I would think that you are not in the same boat, I mean geez,? you could just buy your own webserver?!!!I?m just pulling you chain! (it must be jealousy!) But seriously I would say by judging from your initial post that you do not like the small spider style ? that why I voted for you to get the BMW 630CiIf you don?t like it?s performance then get it tweaked & up the HP to a level you like.Me personally, I would get a classic. I?m sure there are plenty of new Porsches/Beemers/Mercedes in your neighborhood, but how many have a ?57 Porsche Speedster, a ?54 Mercedes Gullwing 300sl, or a ?64 Jaguar XJ12?You would stand out in something like that!I like to be different, but just remember, maintenance on those beauties is a pain in the a**!

Personal Edition:3-5 years ago I would definately say Nortons, because McAfee was so hard to updateNowadays, I would say niether - get AVG free edition. Both McAfee & Symantec have gotten so big that it cripples your machine unless you have a P4-3GHz.Also I removed NAV off one machine when the subscription ran out, and installed AVG - it immediately found a virus that Nortons never detected. I know everybody has these stories about switching from on AV software to another, but this was a pay version vs a Free version.Corporate Edition:3-5 years ago I would definately say Nortons, because McAfee was pretty basic.Now I am administering SAV ver 10, and it sucks. I am hearing good things about McAfee from my IT counterparts in a nearby office.

When I saw the Category 'Vent" I knew what I had to vent about - crappy hosts!I see a lot of other people feel the same way.I had a great host - Hostcubed. They offered everything you could want without any catches and few restrictions, but they disappeard.Since then I have tried atleast 5 or 6 webhosts. And my main beef with them is lack of communication. I'm talking about signing up, then never hearing from them again! Was I approved?!!! Denied?!! what happened here... Did you even receive my submission request?!!! How hard is it to set up a autoresponeder?!!!!Some people on free-webhosts.com have reported waiting over a month before they heard from the webhost!!! WOW!I just signed up with two this week: One still hasn't confirmed anything, and the other sent me an email and approved me instantly, (sweet!) , I went to their site and logged on (the account actually works - double sweet), found that the only way I can upload is FTP - no problem - but wait... the FTP server is not working! (DOH!!!!)I sent emails to to both host's tech suport - nothing yet...AAAhhhhh... it feels good to vent sometimes....I have known about Xisto for a while. I have dealt with the owner of Xisto/Xisto/Xisto when I did a website job for a friend, and I was blown away by Xisto's pay site Xisto - Web Hosting (? - is that the name?). Anyway I have put off coming here because I didn't know if I could keep up with the posting... I guess we'll see....I know one thing, It is very hard to get free hosting with this many features.

I also voted for Sunday. If you would have asked me 10 years ago I would have said Monday.Growing up catholic I was taught that Sunday was the Sabbath (the day of rest = the last day) But since I have gotten older (and gotten away from catholicisim) I have learned that, like Kasm said, that the sabbath in Hebrew is Saturday. Not only that but I have noticed that Saturday "feels" like a day of rest, and Sunday seem like a good day to prepare for the upcoming work week.Maybe I just finally slowed down enough to listen to what my body is telling me.
