  1. Qosmio is the most amazing gaming laptop. You really wouldn't expect something like that from Toshiba, seeing as most of their models are cheaply made(i.e plastic casing, some with integrated graphics).
  2. Your photography has the potential to make anyone hungry.
  3. Hey Carl and welcome! I really hope you'll enjoy this forum as much as I do. =)
  4. I would give this sig a 3.5/10. This is mainly because it seems so asymmetrical because the test is on one side only. Not to mention, solid color text doesn't go well in sigs. You get an A for effort, but it could still use some more work.
  5. Well, I just looked it up again and found that the iphone has many layers of touch-screen technology. One detects electrical current, but I still don't know why they'd need a lot more layers. Wouldn't just 1 layer suffice?
  6. I remember these. They really helped reduce the glare. Also, even with the monitor's Anti-glare feature, using the eye-protectors helped alot even after that. I don't know about you, but before I bought one, my eyes used to hurt a lot and when I'm on the PC, usually, I never get sleepy, which is bad . But when I bought it, I started falling asleep while on the PC because the glare was reduced so much. =P
  7. Well, in our quickly evolving world of technology, there's this wonderful thing called the touch screen. Not just one type, but many types. For example: There's the touchscreen on the iPhone, which ONLY works with your outer-skin, and there's the other touch screen type(the NDS(Nintendo DS)) where you have to put force. So this for me raises a question. Why is it that the iPhone is finger-sensitive and the NDS is pressure sensitive? Can one or the other really call itself a "touch-screen"? Just wanted to know what you guys thought. In my opinion, the iPhone should have both touchscreen capabilities(finger and pressure-sensitivity). What do you guys think?
  8. So basically, they've just released new elements for the sake of organization? So then, why are people saying that HTML5 is more efficient? Is it that it's efficient for the user or the person that implements it into their site?
  9. So, I see that most websites are switching over to HTML5(Youtube, google etc) and that the website's are getting "a lot more efficient" to use, such as the new video relations on youtube(the videos you see on the side), but I just want to ask one thing about this HTML5 revision. What's the difference between this HTML5 and the previous versions of HTML? I've read on wikipedia that there are new tags such as <audio> and <video> but what exactly do they do, and how do they relate to the new youtube? So, I'm mostly asking about youtube, but if you can, can you explain why HTML5 is different?
  10. AHH. I see! Thanks so much. Now I can actually edit the post how I want it and I don't have to erase everything to edit one single thing. Thanks a lot. =)
  11. Lol, I really can't see how "organisations" is not correct spelling. When you say "is", you pronounce "izz" and when you say organisations, you pronounce is "organ-izz-ayshens", same as "organizations". America just took the next step and put a "z" in place of the "s", although we know that "organisations" is truly the correct spelling, because of the "is" and "iz" scenario. Just saying. =P
  12. Cool. But yeah, I guess it can depend on the system, but as you know, Safari doesn't support flash as well as most other browsers such as chrome and Firefox, so that could also be an issue that deals with the actual browser and not the person's PC performance. But anyway, you're right, bc my PC has bad processing speeds and takes a while to load some flash objects, let alone play those objects. Let us know how your tests go. =)
  13. rvalk, your method makes so much sense to me. It's foolproof too, because it's so easy to remember, and takes someone who knows nothing about you a very very long time to figure out(not that they'd go that far), but yea. I'll start adopting your idea and using the secure password. Thanks for that suggestion .
  14. In the U.S, I go to a highschool in the northeast. Classes start at 7:30 and end at 3:00. Unfortunately, they don't allow anything inside a classroom except your books and bookbag(no eating, texting, phoning, etc) and that's about it. =P
  15. Thanks very much for welcoming me, but I have a question. Everytime I come to post, I can align my pointer to where I want to type in, and so I always have to type on top of copied/quoted text. Is there a fix for that? Thanks!
