Any Good 1080P Monitor With Hdmi Support

Recommended Posts

After taking my medical exam (which kept me extremely busy for about 4 months), its time I get back in front of my computer and start woriking. As I have mentioned in many previous posts on this forum, I use a dual monitor setup, which significantly enhances my productivity and performance. My current setup is a primary display (of my laptop) that is 15.6 inches and has a resolution of 1366x768 plus a secondary display which is a samsung syncmaster 151N. It is about 14 inches and has a resolution of 1074x768. I have been using this setup for quite a long time and though it is working fine for me but at times I feel that some extra space would definitely help. For instance while doing my programming exercises, I like to have a number of windows open such as an editor for writing programming code, a result windows where I can quickly see the effects of changes I have made. A book (in digital format) from where I learn the programming and a web browser to search the web (Absolutely necessary). On my current setup I can easily get upto three windows but getting the fourth window open becomes tricky. The primary display with the resolution of 1366x768 can easily hold two windows side by side with good viewing space in both of them but the secondary one with the resolution of 1074x768 can't do the same. It can only hold one window at a time (if the viewing space has to be reasonable) and that is why I cannot get 4 windows open simultaneously.I had thought about getting an extra monitor (so that I would have a total of three displays) but I think that would be too much hardware for my table. So the best option for me is to change my second monitor with something that can easily provide me extra space for that fourth windows.I have decided to go for a 1080p (1920x1080) resolution. I would not only give me more than enough extra space, but would also boost my gaming experience on some games that can be played at that resolution. So the obvious target for me would be a monitor with good price to performance ratio. Plus, I would also like the monitor to have hdmi capabilities. This would extend the usage possibilities for me....... can anyone here recommend me a good 1080p monitor

i run two 17" LCD on 1280x1024 seems ok, but it would be nice to have two wide screens though, just can't afford them heheSamsung T220 is a good choice, there is quite a lot of good monitors out there... and will all come down to your own preference and budget
