Buy To Let Mortgage Site, I Would Really Appreciate Feedback

Seems rather efficient site, I like it's look and feel.However, I did not really understand what "Buy to Let Mortgage" is ? Shouldn't the targeted people be able to understand the concept ?

Buy-to-let is a British phrase referring to the purchase of a property specifically to let out. A buy to let mortgage is a mortgage specifically designed for this purpose.For many years landlords have invested in residential property to be let for profit, but arranging a mortgage loan to buy such property had always been hard as tenants were hard to evict and rent levels were relatively low. Since the introduction of the Assured Shorthold Tenancy in the mid-nineties however the rights of tenants and landlords have been more evenly balanced and mortgage lenders have been more willing to provide finance. This led to a rapid expansion in the amount of mortgage finance available with schemes specifically designed for amateur and professional landlords that became known as buy to let mortgages. The recent credit crunch, however, has caused most UK lenders to cease offering these kinds of mortgage.

The history of the mortgage, first and foremost, is a history that shows a lot of people why mortgages are so respected in the world today. Before the advent of the mortgage as an agreement, there was no similar agreement in place and what that essentially meant was that the only people that had the ability to purchase property were the people that were able to pay for it outright; something that very few people then or now are able to do. Ultimately, when you take a look at the differences in the fiscal banking policy then and now, you can see that mortgages have made the dreams of millions come true specifically because they allowed a person to be able to purchase a house without having to be in possession of money equivalent to the property value of that house and lot.

The Buy-To-Let-Centre website looks quite professional and well styled, although there are a number of elements on the page that look a bit strange. For example, the massive white block adjacent to the logo and above the menu looks unusual, like a void or hole in the page waiting for missing content. Maybe the call-to-action message and phone number could be moved to this location. Also, I find the bullet points i.e. the white square with a surrounding shadow, to be bit dull and not really fitting well into the page. Unfortunately, I don't really have any suggestions on how to fix that.
