Beginner's Guide To Installing Software In Ubuntu

Recommended Posts

Interesting guide, just wondering though if this still can be applied to Ubuntu 7.xx at all, because I would assume that the programming has changed either through updates or adding in new stuff? Also from the looks of it seems that this tutorial is based only on software that is design just for linux OS, and so that leads me into my next qeustion is it possible to install windows based applications as I am trying to figure which linux to use and find out what kind of headaches to expect when I do install a linux OS?
