I name the 2nd of December...this will be the day of the FIRST (not the last ofc) crippliing security hole found in the final release...I predict January 20th will be the FIRST (not the last ofc) security "Patch" for Vista..with ofc many of these incidents to follow..Ms have announced that they will NOT lock the copy of Vista down to the pc you unfortunatly install it on..this means that now you WILL be able to to change to a diff harddrive or change Gphx card without buying a NEW copy of Vista (this was thier plan) because when it was announced there was an outcry on the net about it so they had to about face and announce they wouldnt do this! But if your unlucky enough to buy it from a shop preinstalled..guess what? that copy of Vista WILL be locked down!! so no upgrading for you!!But hey its got 3d menus!!! and it "kinda" works with dual procs WOW!!!!I must go buy it as soon as it comes out!!!Yes I am joking!! this garbage would Never get installed on my precious equipment!!

Well, I suggest that you wouldn't get Vista until the first Service Pack appears, do you remember Windows XP without any service pack? It was/is so unstable and full of holes, Vista will be the same, but I think that in the year 2008-2009 it will be the most used Windows version or maybe not who knows.. But in the year 2009 where will Linux be? It will also get much better :)

I think Lunix has more potential then any Micrasoft's producsts and we will se how it grows yeah only grows coz nowdays we can see that progress of lunix/unix platforms and I'd like to think that Vista will be able to confrontation!!!

Windows vista, hell, any oem that offers vista will burn. I ran the R2 beta and boy did it kill my laptop which has 512 mb of ram and 1.73 ghz proc. Their Aero graphics system is pretty cool but vista functions best when min graphics are used. Microsoft also has blocked access to the vista kernal. As of now all security software must be microsoft made. Hehe, how monopolistic of them. Its such a disgusting OS that i can't even talk about it.
