9/11 May Have Saved America And The World?! Its true not spam. Im not crazy.

Recommended Posts

Could the mods please move this to the right place, just deleat it if you don't like it.I AM NOT SAYING 9/11/2001 WAS GOOD IT JUST WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AND MADE SOMEWHAT BETTER!This not made up spam. You will learn that everything I have to say is very true.OK like my title? Well it got your attention.OK so starting a few years ago pollution was made illegal in the U.S. to slow down global warming. Turns out it is doing just the opposite. By cutting down on pollution we are making earth hotter! A new study has shown that there are two types of gasses on earth, ones that make it cooler and one that make it hotter. A few years back we had a "close to balanced" almost equilibrium with high energy. But now that we have cut back on the "COLD" gasses the hot ones are starting to take over. This will cause effects to our planet never thought of before. I won't go into what will happen in this post. OK so anyway, the only way to test this "theory" is to find a place with the "colder" gasses and then take them away and see if the temperature increases. A good place is the U.S.A. with all the air travel water vapor comes off wings of jets and cools down the earth. But, on 9/11/2001 the world stopped and was amazed. Air-travel all across the U.S. was stopped for 3 days. In these 3 days the temperature went up more than it ever had is 100's of years in the shortest amount of time. We found the answer, We need to keep the pollution balanced at a low level of equilibrium. To do this we need to find alturnitives to oil and use the info that we learned from this sad event.I would personally thank all the people that have died from 9/11 or are in war today. They saved use in more ways than just one. Thanks for reading,SparkxIf you have any problems what so ever about this post please just reply to it, Ill take it down.

That is an interesting theory. Can you provide a link to a scientific site with an explanation of cool and warm gases?I think that may be a valid field of exploration! We ought to see if it really has any bearing on global warming.

I would definitely need to see the sources to believe any of that... No offense '=)

That, my freind, is exactly why I posted it in a reply. I got it from Nova (if you dont thin nova is a good source I dont know what is). :P

Interesting theory but it sounds way too simplistic. Most likely, there is probably a more in-depth reason to this theory then just "cold gases and warm gases".That could be the basic idea and the basis of the theory but I'm sure if the theory exists then it goes much deeper and has much more factors then just certain gases being displaced by planes. You also have to consider the time of year, what was considered "extreme temperature rises", if there were any major storms brewing in the Atlantic at the time. There are a lot of factors to consider and I'm sure that is why it has not been heard of because initial research is probably still taking place so they can get some real evidence and data from controlled experiments.I'll check back here later to see if you have posted a link to the source you acquired this information from.

OK for the last time the link is: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/sun/

Nova used way more "scientific word" I just made a summery of a 1 hour show. They have proof. It wasn't just in New York that temp. were rising it was everywhere in the US, Canada and Mexico. You could say it all just happened to have the biggest temp. increase for a long time (just like they expected would happen) this happened over the 3 days where planes were not flying. I guess you could say that Nova was wrong just because I didn't use "scientific" words.

Sorry, but I definitively do not accept this kind of words. Here we are on the Earth, most of gases are two : 20% Oxygen and 80% Nitrogen, and some very few other ones. So, there is no "cold" or "hot" thing. We could imagine that some type of pollution (deleting the Ozone layers) could increase the temperature ; and some other pollution (mainly solid particles coming when coal is burning) hide the sun rays and make a "cold" effect.I know that real life is a balance of several factors in our biotope. But I will not accept this words of "cold gas" and "hot gas" balance.Sorry, but if you have no better arguments, you should stop talking about this subject.

Well... I would have hoped that they checked it before putting it on national television? I guess you guys are smarter about this subject then the scientist that worked for years to come to this conclusion? I guess I'll just start listing to you guys rather then paying attention to school. And the two different gasses don't "Directly" affect the temp. They just help it go into that direction. When the "green house" gasses get stuck in our atmosphere its not the gas itself that heats up the earth, Its the fact that sun can't leave. The other gasses do the opposite, they make it harder for the sun and heat to even get into the atmosphere. So maby I confused you by saying "hot" and "cold" gasses is what effects the temp. As for nova, they do list there sources check out this list of people that helped:

Muslims For A Safe America conducted a survey at the Islamic Society of North America’s 43rd Annual Convention in Chicago from September 1, 2006 to September 4, 2006.307 Muslims who are American citizens participated in the survey at the Muslims For A Safe America booth at ISNA. The purpose of the survey was to better understand the views of American Muslims on issues relating to Islam, Muslims, and American national security. It is important to let Muslims articulate their varied opinions on these issues in order to encourage dialogue within the Muslim community and with the rest of American society. However, this was NOT a scientific survey, because ISNA Convention attendees who visited the Muslims For A Safe America booth are not necessarily representative of the American Muslim community as a whole.:P

What? Did you even read my post? It had almost nothing to do with the muslim comunity or anything about well, the "Direct" affect of 9/11. You are confusing me to a point were I don't even know what your talking about anymore?

Well, I guess you guys are right. When I first read on this topic on this thread, I was pretty shocked. And I am thinking whoever believed this on their first time is pretty gullible!! I mean... hmmmm... the 9/11 attacks making earth a prettier place for all??Heh, I don't know about that, sir! But anyway, yeah with all that 20% oxygen and 80% nitrogen thing, that's true true true!!! Where can the hot gases and cold gases be?? I mean, it's like... trace gases? I hope you understand what I'm saying but trace gases don't really affect anything. They're too insignificant in quantity to move things around!Really... some people here in Xisto are much smarter than those idiotic "I-gonna-make-some-theories" scientists that think 9/11 "saved" the United States and the whole world..Ermm... yeah. Or maybe it was a hot day?Sorry I got overboard with what you posted. This theory is just too farfetched for me to bear :PThanks :P

I think 9/11 had actually got America so on alert that it's too paranoid.

Just take a look at this article:

U.S. tracks Canadians for terror traits

Monitoring system stores data on flights, licence plates, credit cards, addresses

Dec. 2, 2006. 08:47 AM

TIM HARPER

WASHINGTON BUREAU

A security official is X-rayed by a "backscatter" machine in 2003. The Phoenix, Ariz., airport will test the weaponsâ screening system.

WASHINGTONâThe U.S. government knows where you sat on your last cross-border flight, how you paid for your ticket, your email address, your phone number, even your special meal requests in the past.

They won't let you look at the information but they can share it with law enforcement agencies, foreign governments, even public health agencies and they can keep the dossiers compiled on millions of Canadian travellers for up to 40 years.

It's all in the name of assigning you a score as a potential terrorist under a program known as the Automated Targeting System (ATS).

U.S. privacy advocates and some legislators promised to fight to kill the program yesterday, but the Department of Homeland Security was unapologetic, saying the ATS is really just a continuation of a program overseen by another agency for more than a decade.

Every traveller from every nation, arriving by land, air or sea, is screened under the program.

There was no official reaction from Ottawa to the U.S. program yesterday.

A consultation period inviting comments on the plan ends Monday at which time Washington will determine whether it needs to modify it before publishing the final rules, said homeland security spokesperson Jarod Agen.

Details of the program were placed on the electronic Federal Register here in early November, but the department did nothing to publicize it, Agen said, because it was not seeking new information, merely bringing existing programs under the homeland security umbrella.

The information remains in the government's possession for up to 40 years, he said, because it can sometimes take 10 years or more for terrorist plots to develop.

"If you booked your flight by cellphone and that cellphone shows up at a terrorist's safe house, you will be under greater scrutiny," he said.

Privacy advocates say the Bush administration was trying to hide the program.

"The Automated Targeting System mines a vast amount of data to create a `risk assessment' on hundreds of millions of people per year, a label that will follow them for the rest of their lives, as the data will be retained for 40 years,'' said the Electronic Privacy Information Centre.

"Yet the system is deeply flawed, and the funds spent turning ATS into a citizen profiling program would be better spent in perfecting its cargo screening process, so that port security can be stronger than a `house of cards,'" the privacy centre says.

The centre's executive director, Marc Rotenberg, said if the information is used for any other reason than to assess security risks, and it cannot be accessed by its subjects, "then I think the program should be shut down.''

Vermont Democratic Senator Patrick Leahy, the judiciary committee chair in the new U.S. congress, said data banks such as ATS are due for oversight.

"That is going to change in the new congress,'' he told the Associated Press, which first revealed the existence of ATS.

David Sobel, senior counsel for the Electronic Frontier Foundation, called the proposal "frightening'' and urged homeland security to "allow for an informed public debate on this dangerous proposal.''

The program was used to screen cargo in the early 1990s under the supervision of the American treasury department, then expanded to include passengers in the mid-1990s.

Following the 2001 terror attacks, however, the scope of information sought by the U.S. was greatly expanded and was the subject of much debate in Ottawa because it involved Canadian air carriers.

In its detailed privacy posting on its website, homeland security said data must be retained for up to 40 years "to cover the potentially active lifespan of individuals associated with terrorism or other criminal activities.''

It said, however, it would delete files if they are no longer relevant. But you won't know whether your file is active or deleted because the proposed rules also prevent any access to the data the U.S. has stored.

Most of the information comes from air carriers, Amtrak, the U.S. national rail carrier, chartered sea vessels and information provided by motor vehicle registration when your licence plate is scanned as you drive across the border.

According to the homeland security proposal, the information collected on you includes:

# The date of your reservations and your travel dates.

# Your name and the names of your travelling companions.

# Your address, your credit card information, your billing address, your cellphone number and email address.

# Where you like to sit on the plane and any special services â meals or otherwise â you request.

# Your frequent flyer points and your travel agency.

# The number of times you have booked one-way tickets.

# How many bags you check and their tag numbers, and whether you have ever booked a flight and not shown up.

I don't think the United States have the rights to monitor people of other countries.
