Recommended Posts

IBM is offering $20,000 to customers to switch from
Microsoft Exchange to IBM's Lotus Notes and Domino platform.
They said company do not changing because of the cost.
Therefor they offers $20 for every Exchange license in a
company (with a max of 1000 licenses).

But is it a good idea to switch platform? remember it does not cost just money.
And when you have to pay people to use your product, there must a problem

Ermmm.. I don't really understand why they might be doing this, but it's a good way to get "supporters". You know what I mean... it's like buying people 's votes when it comes to voting for mayors, prime ministers, etc.Get it?

The Web site that OP gave states that this is a response to Microsoft recently releasing tools to help users switch from Domino (IBM) to Outlook (Microsoft). Seems like this is just another tactic to compete against the corporate giant. But hey, things like this are always interesting to watch.
