How To Create A 3d Sphere Panoramic View? Help Flash or Applet or anything...

Have it occured to realize some virtual guide for place to include into a website?I wand to know how can I create a 3D sphere panoramic view animation, using Flash / Java Applet/anything..?Lets say i put a camera in the middle of a room and the visitor can navigate inside the room and look into any direction: see at the left where a paint is hanged, or right where the window stands, and see the candels hanging in the celing, or the wooden floor..I hope you got the idea..Are there software doing this, lets say if have the pics, can a soft create such effects?Another thing.. this should be mouse interactive or with control buttons..Help please:)

Well, first you would have to take the panoramic picture of your room. I don't know if you'd need a panoramic camera, but I think a regular one would work. You would have to take the pictures with a rotatable tripod and then put the images together with Photoshop or a software like that. Then put it in flash and make some arrow buttons. On the actionscript of the arrows, make the _x value of the picture _x - 5 to make it move to the left or _x + 5 to make it go to the right. Then, make an if statement to make the picture warp around when the _x of the picture reaches the edge. I'm just a beginner in actionscript, so I can't help you that much. Look for tutorials about this on Google if you still have problems.

They are called panoramic views and you can use apple's quicktime for it. Try googling for 'panoramic images' ... if you have a quicktime plugin installed in your system, you can see it. I remember bryce having an option to render an image in quicktime format ... but never tried it. Maybe you can check it out.
