Programmersheaven.com: Great Programming Site

Whenever I need info about programming I always go to programmersheaven.com

 

Probably a lot of you already know this site but for the ones that dont know it CHECK IT OUT!!!

 

It really helped me out a couple of times.

It also contains some example scripts.

That's pretty cool site you got there. I haven't had the time to go searching for programming sites, this should come in handy for my classes though. Hopefully as I progress more into the world of programming, I can refer to this site and get some help from it.

looks like a great site. I should start learning C again, but I'm soo lazy and manage to have soo less time ;) .

oooOOOooo just what I'm gonna be needing soon once I start a job doing C++... I know java and C but havn't 'quite' learned c++ yet so having some good coding resources will be good. I'll have to check this one out, w00!

I've gotta question: does programming only classify stuff like C, Java, Perl, etc, or does it include, by definition, php, asp, javascript, et al? Just something that's always been on my mind.

I dont know if there is a true definition. If there was, it would probably include all that, just because definitions are usually made broad enough to not piss anyone off haha. But in reality alot of people, I think, differentiate between programming, scripting, etc. I could be wrong, but I doubt it, because I'm pretty awesome...

Strictly, I think that if the language needs a compiler, it is called programming eg. C, java, Perl...

If you don't need compiler but a interpreter (which means you don't have to encode the program to machinecode) it is called scripting. Like php, asp...
