Any Tool/software For Php Code Generation ? Tool for code generator

Recommended Posts

You mean a modelling tool in which you can drag and drop UMl elements and then it generates the code?

If so, check out ArgoUML. The latest versions of it contain PHP support, and if I'm not teriibly mistaken, it also can generate php5 code.

There are a lot of tools that generate code

When I first started looking for code generators I thought that maybe I could find one or two, I WAS WRONG!!!!

Code Generation Tools for PHP

my favorite is phpCodeGenie, why? because code generated is really simple to understand, because it's GPL I think, and because it's PHP generating PHP, so I can modify to my will all the files I want, and generate something different or something extra if I want to

php code genie

it's amazing the code you can generate with all these tools, it really does save you a really big amount of work, most people think these tools are useless (but not me B) ), I think they do the dirty, tedious, basic and boring work humans should not do

This program is quite handy indeed. A lot like Viso , only a lot more practical for project planning and it does generate code.

Best part: its BSD-license meaning you can take the source, modify and then resell or do whatever the heck you want with it without the restrictions of GPL.

I know at work we are restricted and try not to use GPL stuff in general. Mainly because if we do spend the time to develop or intergrate a program into our own stuff and then want to turn around and sell it we can avoid legal hassles by starting or using BSD stuff.
