The BNR Metal Pages is the best band information site, but they don't really have much "current-news"-wise information. The site is updated pretty often though, with reviews, interviews and such.

For general band news, wouldn't it just be easier to check out your band's official site or their site on the record label? I personally hate wading through tons of info about bands I've never heard of to find something which interests me.

bravewords.com started that whole lemmy is bi business. blabebrmouth is more reliable.

those are great sites. i am currently looking to find out when incubus is going on tour. so hopefully this site will tell me. the forums on that site are hilariouse. thanks for the link man.

i like punknews.org myself. pretty much it's the music i love.

i use ultimate-guitar.com to get my guitar tabs....i haven't looked through it for news tho. purevolume.com is another really good site if your into indie/punk/alternative bands. tooons of them on there you can download for free
