Game Websites Anyone?

I know i love games... what about you guys.... I know i love free stuff... what about you guys lol... i joined this site called Game Militia last year in june before it launched in July... anyhoo its a free site dedicated to people who love like or just play games... plus they have contests for all kinds of free stuff... ive won stuff ranging from tshirts to autographed posters to stuff from spike tv

As you can probably guess from the URL, it's about 8 bit games, but I have plenty of cool stuff up and more is on the way.

I'm picky when it comes to games. I'm a fan of them, but I get bored too easily. They got to keep my interest. They got to have good graphics. But some of the games with the best graphics ever I have not made a chance to play because I do not have the proper platform. Darn the bad luck. I really love all kinds of games, but I'm kinda limited. For instance, I like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, and there's this one game that I've seen for the PC, but I can't remember the name. It was some war craft game and it looked really neat. But my computer could never support it. I can't afford a used PS2, so I kinda stick to free online games that don't suck the life out of my computer. I know, kinda sad. One of these days though, I am determined, I'll upgrade my computer, get a heck of a lot of games, and just lock myself in my room and blast music while trying to beat all of these new games. That be the day. What kind of life do I have, to day dream about spending days permently attatched to a computer screen, a keyboard, and a mouse. Oh well, one day I'll get it out of my system.

i hear ya on that.. i cant afford ps2 and i dont like xbox so any gaming i do is on the gamecube or pc.... i scrounged and scraped up enough money to get a new graphics card (i was so proud of myself) so now i can play doom 3 and all that good stuff... you should check out game militia... they got a nice little arcade with a variety of stuff that can keep ya busy.. trust me i know, i usually play them instead of payin attention in class haha

it isn't really a gamessite, but it is a site with an economic game (in dutch), that works with rounds, the creators of the game/site are currently searching and working ad an international (english) site

I just usually play games from addictinggames.com. My iBook isn't good enough to run games at a fairly good level.

http://www.ebaumsworld.com/ isnt exactly a game related site but has a fair few addictive flash games on there which are fun!miniclip is also a quality site.

Ummm... I've been to lots of game sites, but the problem is remembering them...

 

I know Miniclip has a lot of good games... Newgrounds has some awesome games, but some things on that site are not for children under 18, Addicting Games has some pretty awesome games and addicting games, and of course the infamous Yahoo! has good games, but if you're looking for fun games and maybe a little recognition, try Xisto's arcade.

If you are into music label sims or game making sims check out http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. They only have to games right now, Chart Wars 3 and GamBiz, but they are working on like 3 new ones right now. They are also working on a freeware game site. That has not been set-up yet but they say it is comming soon.

one really addicting mmorpg game is runescape. You can waste a lot of time on that game. Some people love it, some find it annoying...I love it.

I tryed runescape for 1-2 days, I absolutely hated it.

 

although thats probably because i'm used to playing such better non-free games.

 

I suppose runescape is good in the way that its free of charge and no monthly subscription is needed.

Thats cool that you made your own game. Somethign ive always wanted to do. Yet as far as free online games go, theres a whole lot of competition and options to choose from. Outwar.com for example. I think it would be next to impossible to top that. It sounds fun to make one of those and if anyone knows anything about it or is interested then let me knowKevin

i get addicted way too easy to friggin flash games haha.... as far as gamemilitia.com well its pretty much a community like this one, except all we talk about are games... its like the xbox forums with the ps2 forums and the nintendo forums all under one roof heehee... you guys should really check it out

As for a really cool game site that is for free. Try popcap.com or pogo.comThey have really cool classic games that are free. Such as zuma and bejeweled. They also have really nice new games they made. i totally recomend both of those sites.As for flash games my personal favorite Alien Hominid on newgrounds.com The site itself if friggin hilarious. Once again I recomend the site to anyone, as long as they are at an appropiate age. The site contains some explicit content.

I play it not because I can't play DDR, but overall, it's cheaper - DDR isn't cheap to play at home (game + mat), nor is at arcades (you keep wanting to play more, because you keep messing up... before you know it, you've spent five dollars more)Yes, it is free... good idea to register, too.
