Recommended Posts

hi.. here's a exaple of how i tried to localy changing my link colorshave fun!is not valid CSS, and you can't put the link attribute in anything other than the body tag I believe, but all of this should be done in CSS.Code:<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN""http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"><title>Untitled Document</title><style type="text/css"><!--body {background-color:#0000FF;color:#FFFFFF;}a,a:link,a:visited,a:hover,a:active {color:#FFFFFF;}a.blacklink,a.blacklink:link,a.blacklink:visited,a.blacklink:hover,a.blacklink.active {color:#000000;}--></style></head><body><a href="#">blah</a><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td><a href="#" class="blacklink">blah2</a></td></tr></table></body></html>

Thanks!I tried it in a <div> tag and it works, at least on Explorer 6.0, witch have good css support. It's a smart way of doing this. I'm gonna see how it works on different platforms and browsers.Peace!
