Homestar Runner!

So, I just wanted to see what everyone else thought about Homestar Runner. The site is just hilarious, but they've definately been slacking on adding new content lately. I mean, the guys say that the sell merch and do this for a living now, but they just aren't keeping it up. I could definately understand there being so much lag time if they were college students, but since they're doing it for a living, i'd think it would be a bigger priority for them to get stuff up and stay as edgy as possible with what they've got.

so what do you think? if you know the site, what's your opinion and if you don't, take a look. i'm sure to any newbies to the site it'll be a riot, but i just wanted some opinions and to get started on my posting!

I like the "First Time" one and I also took a few of my other favorites out of my temp files. I'll get the numbes later if I become "unlazy" by that time :(Otherwise, I think it's frickin' hilarious. "I'm a long pants man Strong Bad, I wear long pants, long pants, long pants, long pants!!" LOL

one of my most prized possessions is my strongbad emails dvd. i love it. i think my favorite email of all time is the "children's book". i highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it! keep up the info! i'm so glad i have someone to talk about this with!!

yeah it's all flash. from what i understand they're self taught. a couple of brothers and a girlfriend or something. one does the animation, another brother does the voices and the girlfriend does marzipan. they come up with the stuff together. i love it. i wish i could come up with something like that and make a living screwing around! They probably just do this on the side. Notice they don't have ads. Therefore they probably put up money for this as a hobby sort of. Anyway, yeah, it's really really good for self-taught.

well, i was looking through their faq section and since they started selling merch i think they went full time... i mean i'm sure they still have other things on the side, but they consider it more than a hobby. so yeah...but i'll check into that again and see if i'm mistaken.

Yeah, Homestar Runner is funny. The episodes are hilarious.Another site thave I've found to be funny is http://illwillpress.com/ . The squirrel is great!May have to check out Homestar Runner more often now.

Homestar Runner is hilarious! I recommend it to everyone here. Some of the cartoons I think are weird, but most of them are ROFL funny.The 'Children's Book' SB Email is very funny. I'd also recommend 'Kid's Show' where Strong Bad makes his own TV show aimed at little kids, 'Stunt Double' where Strong Bad 'proves' he doesn't use any stunt doubles, and the new one, 'Garbage Sale' where he is suggested to sell all of his stuff. And.... aww heck, just watch them all!- AlPalP.S. The 'Dragon' Email is a classic - don't forget that one!

Homestar is hilarious I was introduced to it a few years ago and havent stop laughing at it since. I know what you mean about them rarely adding new content to it that can be stressful when your looking for a good laugh or two and have grown tired of looking at th e same stuff.
