Bad Free Web Hosting

Both Free Web Town and beplaced.com claim to give free FTP access but don't, if anyone would like to assemble a list of poor free hosting feel free to reply to this post. Make sure to state the reason for your complaint.

Lycos - was a great host to start of and then started to add ads to there pages - big ads using javascript so that they only stayed on for 5 seconds but the ads themselves used flash and animated gifs and that was what your attention was diverted towards when you viewed the page.

My old website may still be active but I'm not using it, I leant it to some young girls, anyway here it is and you'll see the ads

Why slater old hosts? Just because they don't meet your needs doesn't mean they are neccessarily "crap".I don't really think this topic is worth anything.

I dont think we could do that here without being hated a lot. Although you could goto webhostingtalk.com and talk about it there or at freewebhostingtalk.com and tell them, a lot of people check there for reviews.

Nice thread..Maybe this is a good place to post all you're experiences to different free webhosting who is claiming that they have the very best free web hosting service. I have so many list of this bad webhost..I will just compile this and put my comments on every webhost and will put here for the benefit of all of us.

don't use http://www.jexiste.fr/ because you have to phone to have really free webspace !
