How Can I Use Php Online On My Pc? Do I have to download a program?

I would like to know how can I set up and use php offline using my computer. Everytime I code to PHP I should go online.

To run PHP on your maching you need to setup a webserver that can run PHP. Try looking at this thread which has some info on it already. Try installing PHP Triad, an installer that installs Apache, PHP, and mySQL altogether, everything you need to run PHP.

hm.. there are lots of people starting to learn php on this forum. i am too starting to learn it. and just recently found out a way to build a server from scratch just by double clicking. the program you can use is XAMPP its on the official website and its for free. its has everything that a server should need. you can also use this for offline which i always do.its very user friendly too. so all you has to do is add your web documents to a htmldoc folder and load it up in a browser. i should work just like as if it was this working server on Xisto.com

Well, i have tried a lot of this ofline servers...

The one i like the most is called Xsas: "Xoops Stand Alone Server"
The good thing about this satnd alone server is that u don't need to install it to use it...

You have to decompress it and run xsas.exe

Just put your files in the www folder (of the xasas decompressed folder) and run you php script there..

The only bad thing about it is that it includes xoops2, a cms (i use it and love it) but if u don't want it, just erase it... i say is a bad thing because xasas is 8 mb..

The good thing is that xasa.exe is only 8mb (jejje, very well compresed)

PS: There's also a w:\ virtual drive on your pc when you run the program, you can drag your php there, is the same thing as draging them to the www folder
