Telnet... it is a tool used for remote logins,and as a sort of teletext for internet before web browsers were invented.today its used for fooling around with servers, sending emails the hard way.. and.....is the newest form of getting free movies.. !Okok,,, there is no sound, but the subtitles are great.star wars, episode 4 ( Digitally re-mastered to ASCII ART !!! )open up a command line (click start->run then type "cmd" for windows users.)and maximise the window, and type "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl"ENJOY !

Absolutely wonderful - that very fact that it can be done in such a way. Thanks for the great entertainment qwiji & looking fwd to more such links. This is one of a kind. I'd seen acsii art earlier and designed some myself - but this is unique. :D

So you like Ascii art ???that was nothing.Get over yo souurceforge and get yourself "aalib" its a graphics driver (like openGL) but outputs to ascii art.Ive played Quake in ascii art, Unreal Tournament in ascii art.and get this !!!with aalib and mplayer, you can watch MOVIES IN ASCII ART !!!!real mpegs avi's divx or DVD's in ascii art.if you have knoppix, fire it up, and look for a program called "bb" its an asci art demo program, shows you loads of great high resolution real pictures in ascii art.
