banjosforpeace 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2005 MySpace is getting a bit crowded and therefore slowing down. It takes FOREVER to go through profiles because there are so many of them. And it takes a lot of time to weed out junk from your profile searches.  That being said, I think MySpace is pretty good and has potential to be even better. I use the Music section the most. It is a good place for artists to post their music so their regular web site bandwitdh doesn't get used up (as I learned a few eeks ago). The blogging ability is pretty good, too. I play in my wife's band and we have a page there: https://myspace.com/browser  I hope that link doesn't count as advertising a web site, which I know is forbidden. It is relevant, right? posiordie 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2005 myspace is goot thing for bands. i'm checking it only for find some new bands. all that kind of sites are weird for me. if i want to meet some new friends i'm just going out. real life is outside, not in internet anyway, as i said, music section is really good, i found there many interesting bands. is the only useful thing in myspace oh.. and if ya want, you can check my bands site at myspace https://myspace.com/browserhope that giving that kind of links is not forbidden. Yamato 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2005 I am so positively addicted to Myspace. Seventy-seven friends haha, most of whom I know from all the schools I have been to. Man, they all added me. I've only pressed that 'add to friends' button like five times. I feel so loved.I really enjoy it for the bands. I have been able to find some rad new music on there. I usually have rotating music videos on my front page as well. Right now it's Tenacious D ahaha. I just wish Firefox supported coloured scroll bars. My page looks so much better on IE, but IE sucks so oh well.So yes. Add me if you'd like. I'm not too terribly interesting, but friends are sure nice.Here's my Myspace link. It's interesting to look through different profiles and see where my old high school friends and enemies are turning up. I'm not going to lie, I've felt joy at seeing old bullies end up at dead end jobs.Also, if you've got a myspace profile make sure to keep checking out your page. They're going to let regular users have url links like bands do with that whole myspace.com/username thing. If you want a username that you think will be popular, make sure to pick it quickly.
