Does anyone know of a good free vector program like Illustrator? I would be eternally grateful (for a while).
It's free and open source and has a few features beyond the basics.
Hope you like it.
I have not used the GIMP, but I hear it is good. It may or may not have similar vector tools. I know it has pixel tools like photoshop, but who knows. Its free so worth trying, let us know.
i feel Corel draw is good vector software... but its not free...for a free vector graphics... i think you can try the inscape...so try it... and more over it is free...
Are there free vector programs??? Don't know anything for free
Well, Blackbird, thanks for reading the whole topic before posting something stupid. Anyways, thanks for the suggestions; I'll be checking into those soon, although right now isn't a good time. I'll tell you what I think about them when I've tried 'em out a bit.
I personally like Macromedia Fireworks and FreeHand. They are both very good programs specializing in vector draw. I suggest you download a free trial to check it out!
