Fedora Help

I've installed linux ver 10. fedora. but i got one problem !!!!

it didnt detect my modem :/

 

my modem is Zoltrix soft 56 k

 

but it dint detect it !!!!

 

any body know what to do now ???

Try linmodem and get the scan tool to find out what chipset, going by your description it sounds like a conexant chipset, you will then need to find the right drivers for your chipset, since drivers don't go by brand names but the physical hardware on your modem.

Good luck searching for drivers :S (i also hope you've got a reasonable Linux knowledge because you probably have to compile and setup those drivers manually) , i had that problem a while ago with SuSe 7, now i've got ADSL, that's recognised at first boot :P.Good luck
