Looking For Decent DB Benchmarks

Recommended Posts

can anybody help me here.

i'm designing a website + some applications for a company, all using the same database. now i'm looking for the best database, if possible a free one, no licenses and stuff. but other ones can be taken into account as well.

so if you have tried it out yourself or know a site that has some reliable results, help me out.

Just download a mysql program at the mysql homepage i think its http://www.mysql.com/ then you can do allt he server side changes yourself and also you can add phpmyadmin to it so you'll be able to work from anywhere. well thats just my opinion anyways I find mysql to be the most usefull but theres another one out there that ends in swl I juts forget what it's called
