You can use it for more than one site and it gives you stats on each page on your website. It tells you how many times each individual person has looked at your pages. It is very detailed and not hard to use. You can choose to have an invisible counter that others cant see or of course there is the option to show your visitors the counter in a range of pretty colors (there is also a bit of a dodgy option to start the counter on a number of your choice). I've looked through a few and this is the best i can find.

Remote Hosted Hit Counter

It may not slow down your webpage loading if the server providing the remote hosted counter is fast.

If you are interested in such free service, let me know.

I can build one for everyone who is interested in getting it for free.

Just send me an email and your suggestions.

I will see what I can do to meet your requests.

:)

guys, why are you using external help? here, Xisto provide us with php enabled hosting. so, try to use php counter instead. the best thing is that you can change it whenever you want. search for scripts like this from hotscripts.com

lol, i see what you're saying, but I use to use a premade counter from one of these sites because it saves me the trouble of keeping track of my own php counter because of a lack of security. It just seems easier to stick a little code inside your site rather then having extra files in your file manager. Of course, I personally made a MySQL counter, but before I knew how to, I also relied on one of those stats sites ^_^

don't you need to register at some of their local sponsors in order to use the counters?

Very few free statconters require you to register (definatly not the one I mentioned above) although most of them do need you to have a working email address which most people would already have.
