Perl, the hacker language?

For you why many times we associate Perl to the hacker's world?for many exploit write in perl or for the flexibility of the Lang, what do you think about?For me, Because in perl the operation on the strings and with the socket are powerful as in c but perl is simpler to write IMHOByez & 'njoy

Perl wih its gr8 string handling functions and stable socket programming support, remains the most used language for Hackers. Perl is very easy to break into

I would actually like to learn how to hack into websites etc. Not so i can deface others' webpages of course but so that i can learn how to better defend against hackers. I think that the best way to defend against them is to know how they work. Can anyone recomend a website that has a tutorial?EDIT- Or maybe someone who knows how could post a tutorial in the How To's and Tutorials section?

I totally agree with you @Darren. My old site had been hacked once. The forums to be exact (IPB). After that, I started looking for links and tutorials on how to hack so I know when, where and how to defend against those da*n hackers.

Thanks for the link. It's a great site and not only for the hacking side but for alot of other things to, like roms for example. Using that site I found a heap that i couldn't find .
