Problem With Browser Internet explorer problem while running ASP.NET

I was doing ASP.NET programming.I have installed windows XP SP 2 in my PC. And default browser was IE 6.0. I upgraded to IE 8. Initially ASP.NET program was working when I had IE 6.0 in my PC. But as soon as I upgraded to IE 8, ASP.NET program was not running. So please suggest me what was the problem.

Can you describe more? I am thinking that you only have browser issues where the layout gets broken. IE6 and IE8 are two different browsers and IE8 supports better cascading system. It was common for Microsoft to always remove features on new browsers when they add new ones making it pretty hard to make your website compatible to all browsers. I am experiencing problems like this and the scenario is always "work on all browsers except IE6 and IE7" or "Work on IE6 and IE8 but totally messed up on all other browsers".

i have never use internet explorer to test or create my programs, in all his versions. so i suggest you to download another browser like firefox or opera. they are perfect with all their futures to support your work and programs. try them and see if your program will work on them, if not then you have a problem in your program. good luck.
