Add Independent Music Player For Website

hello members,Im start thinking to add a music player to my webste (wrodpress and gallery). Independent player mean, the player keep playing eventhough I explored my website.The example of website that have what I want is; /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi
anyone here can help me?

 That website puts the media player in a pop-up window.  You should be able to find how to make that kind of independent player if you google "pop-up media player".


You can also make a semi-independent player using the xspf player with autoresume support.  It isn't the most stylish of players, but it will try to pick up where it left off when you go to another page.  If you want to see it in action, you can check it out at my totally unfinished site at http://chaosinacan.x10hosting.com/.

Keep in mind that if you have a media player, especially one that plays by itself, you will want it to be one that has the ability to either be muted or be stopped altogether.There are still some people with dial-up, and if they are forced to keep streaming music it will slow down their internet connection considerably (hence the ability to stop the music altogether).
