Canon Powershot Sd 750 Problem with videos

I had purchased a Canon PoweShot SD 750 Digital Camera a couple of years back. The quality of the pictures I had taken are good. Though there is problem with night mode and the pictures are somewhat blurry. May be because I am not so accustommed to using it. But, with the video capture, I had a rare problem. When I go for viewing the captured videos, the video runs in a fast motion. I tried to repair the fault by running through different options available for me. But unfortunately I could not find anything to mend it. I have lost my manuel during transfer posting and now could not go for video capturing as there is no use of doing it. Is there any remedy for my problem?Your suggestions will be appreciated.

Have a tripod to mount the digital camera on to see if it still produce the blurry results? One reason is due to long shutter speed that was caused by small aperture of the build-in lens.Try reset your camera to default settings and see if it fix the problem.

yea, i agree with onscreen. i don't like turning to different auto modes on my camera for the reason that the camera isn't perfect sometimes for the pictures you want to capture. if in night mode and the picture is blury or fuzzy, it could be that the shutter speed is automatically set to something low. because of this, it wont copensate for any slightest hand movement when trying to take a picture. solution? tripod OR setting the camera on a flat surface if you don't have a tripod. when i didn't have a tripod. i would stack boxes, lay the camera on a car, or between tree branches so that there would be no slightest movement or "shake" when holding the camera up at a very low shutter speed

if you don't like this option, you can always try to open up the aperature to allow more light in the camera. this will allow you to increase your shutter speed. there's actually a couple other solutions. but try stabalizing your camera first. adjusting the iso to something higher works too...but just try stabalizing the camera and test it that way FIRST if you are still getting a blurry picture or fuzzy picture, maybe it's something else....but i doubt it if your daytime pictures are good quality. means it's not the lens or anything to do with the camera(probably)

Blank ScreenCanon Powershot Sd 750Took a picture and reviewed it everything was fine. Went to take another picture and screen was black. All other functions in menu seem to be working. Took another picture with black screen and tried to review but that was black too. HELP-question by Joanne

Fast Video Replay Solution - CanonCanon Powershot Sd 750

You have set your video mode to time-lapse - this compacts the video and forces it to replay faster.  Based upon the Canon manual, this would make a 30-minute recording actually take up only 8-minutes.

 

Go to video mode (as if you are shooting a video), then select the video mode from the on-screen menu using the Function button.  Change from time-lapse (icon may have a clock next to the video-camera picture) to either compact (icon with picture of envelope) or to standard (picture of a video camera alone).

Hope that solves your problem - it worked for mine.
