I'm more than certain you guys get this a lot, but I need a bit of help.

I'm looking to create an RPG Game, mainly text based and will have graphics, images etc in it. It's web based, and is single player.

I was wondering if JavaScript can pull it off, or would I have to use something a bit more along the lines of PHP?

They both seem similar, but I know more about JavaScript than PHP, so, is it possible to create it from HTML, CSS, and JavaScript?
