Mycents And Warnings perhaps a bug?

truefusion

I noticed that users that have a warning, their myCENTs would still convert to dollars though they had a warning. I was wondering if this penalty was removed.

Were the dollars getting added in the display panel on the forum or did members confirm that they could see the money in their account (Xisto billing)

They were getting added to the display panel on the forum. I haven't seen any of the regular members talk about warnings not preventing them from having their myCENTs converted (which i wouldn't expect any of them to complain about it ). The expected result is like how it appears with you (which i find to be interesting too, as moderators can't receive warnings and that's the only way that i know of for the myCENTs to remain in a "ready" state).

As I recall, the first warning (level 10%) should not affect the MyCents. Subsequent warnings stop the MyCents from being converted to XistoDollars, although they are gathered at the same rate as non-warned members. As for Moderators not getting warnings... good thing...

I remember the effects that warnings have on myCENTs as clear as it is written in the following posts: [1], [2]. Subsequent warnings only prevent (or are supposed to prevent) people from purchasing certain items or upgrades for their account if they managed to get an account before the warnings. Warnings aren't allowed to affect myCENTs in preventing the members from earning myCENTs—that's as far as it goes for warnings not affecting myCENTs, to my knowledge. But it appears to me that there may be a bug in the system, as i have been recently been observing members that have had their dollars increase without showing any signs of a haulted myCENT conversion.

And ever since i saw Velma signed up with the myCENT system, i've also been wondering what's the deal with her account, but that's irrelevant, as why would she need myCENTs to get hosting from a company that could give her free hosting as a benefit for just working as an employee in Xisto?

The way I understood it was that when a member had a warning it prevented them from using the xisto-dollars they received, but they would still receive them.

My Suggestions

Warn Level 1 -> No Domain Related Activation

Warn Level 2 -> No Hosting as well as Domain Related Activation.

Warn Level 3 or more -> No Support Applicable for member.

Do we know if this ever happened?

Perhaps OpaQue wanted her to sign up to help look for bugs and test new features.
