Average Server Speed?

hi,i have one simple question:as you could see in the topic-title, what's the average server speed?I would know the answer if i downloaded something "bigger" from Xisto, but i'm at slowband at the moment so....it's not obvious..I hope someone can answer this.

slowband? you mean narrowband?I think the server that Xisto hosted sites are on are Dual processor, Intel Xeon 2.8Ghz with 2Gb memmory.

We have cable, and normally this very fast (up to 10mB/second), but when we reach our traffic limit (10Gigabyte), our connection get's slower, almost like 56k-modem.... Here, in Belgium, we call it slowband.. I have no idea if this expression is used by other countries/area's nor it is a correct term....

 

EDIT: maybe my mistake: smallband is also used

 

With my question about the average serverspeed, i meant the amount of kB/second it usually can transfer.. (the download speed ).

The avarage download speed depends on your location :\If I live in the same country as the servers I would have much faster downloads then if I lived in europe (What I do)
