Questions About Moderating Vis-a-vis Credit System 3.0

jlhaslip

1. Do we continue to screen applications?

2. Are the current members expected to convert to the "paid" account plans soon? When? (if known)

3. What Plans are available for Hosting under the "paid" system? Any CH plan?

4. Are posts worth more or less than the ver 2.0 system?

5. Are Mod plans the same per each service available?

6. Referral links are hinted at. Any Banners or buttons or html code available for that?

7. Until further noted, I assume we continue to do the regular routines w.r.t. Applications, Warnings, Spam, Etc?

1. Do we continue to screen applications? This will not be required. A member after sign-up, is required to make 5 posts to be eligible for earning cents/post. After this, he needs to sign-up at Xisto - Support.com/billing and he is all set in 5 hours.2. Are the current members expected to convert to the "paid" account plans soon? When? (if known)Yes, Members are requested to go ahead and order package by logging into your account. Proceed to order any package of your choice and complete order by check-out. During Checkout, its recommended to use PAYPAL as your payment gateway (even though you will not require to make any payment, as the Billing system will credit the invoice from your available credit money)3. What Plans are available for Hosting under the "paid" system? Any CH plan?Anything.4. Are posts worth more or less than the ver 2.0 system?More. I will answer this question after 1 month :-)5. Are Mod plans the same per each service available?Mods will get extra credits per post. This will not apply to past posts. 6. Referral links are hinted at. Any Banners or buttons or html code available for that?Just like old days, members make and share

What about the question of AUTO-RENEW after a year? If members are to understand properly, they are asking since we are purchasing a hosting plan (1 year paid service) do they renew after 1 year? And this is to be performed manually by each hosting member?

velma

The renewal is very easy and it will have to be done by the member itself to avoid any confusion. When a trapper signs up at the new billing record, he is bridging his trap account with his CH account. Once that is done it is very simple for him to have his order setup and when the member's due date arrives, he will be sent an invoice.

This invoice can be paid using "credit" in his client interface. Now the only con is that no member(paid or free) can buy a hosting package using credit but he can pay the invoice linked to the same order using the credit option.

Whenever a member logs into his Client area to pay his invoice, he simply clicks on the pending invoice and then he will be shown his credit amount.

We might also want to update the website http://forums.xisto.com/

It appears to me that the Billing Process always wants a specific Domain name for each account. What are the plans for the Xisto sub-domain users such as jlhaslip.trap17.com?And does the new account include Cpanel? or a replacement/look-a-like Account Manager?

Invoice payment (for a new order or existing order) will be DEBITED(subtracted) from the CREDIT BALANCE(inside Xisto - Support) automatically.

A manual invoice payment using your Credit Balance should not be required. However, its better to keep a watch on your invoices.

If they go pending, you will surely receive an ALERT e-mail.

Any Account xxxxxx.trap17.com OR xxxxxx.astahost.com will be forced to be hosted on server GAMMA only.

xxxx.qupis.com will be forced to be hosted on another server.

I would urge members to collect credits and buy a domain.

I will be adding NEW domains to the list so that they can hosted anywhere on our cluster.

As the $$ you earn are not going to reduce, its easier for members to collect and buy :-)

Procedure to Order a Sub-Domain

===========================

Suppose, you want to register, myfirstwebsite.trap17.com

1. Select "I will update my nameservers on an existing domain Or I will register a new domain." at Step 1.

2. You will see two fields to enter your MAIN DOMAIN NAME and EXTENSION

3. Your main domain name should be : "myfirstwebsite" (without quotes)

4. Your Extension should be : "Xisto.com" (without quotes)

Choices for Sub-Domains (these can be hosted anywhere on our cluster)

1. elugs.com

2. tuckie.com

3. creativeriots.com

4. protectgaea.com

5. xysis.net

6. Xisto.com -> will be hosted on server gamma only

7. Xisto.com -> will be hosted on server gamma only
