Need Help With This Css Line please?

H1 ( font-weight: bold; text-align: center; font-size: 1.0em }I want to have H1 to be centralized and bold but not larger. If I apply it to a document then the H1 will still be too large (larger then normal font-size) and it doesn't validate, can someone please help me this. Thnx in advance.

You have a left parenthese instead of a left brace. Try

H1 { font-weight: bold; text-align: center; font-size: 1.0em; }

can you please describe your problem with some more lines. I could not get you properly.

Ok, I want H1 to be smaller than normal and centralised. But my css size code doesn't have effect (even 0.3em doesn't work) and it doesn't validate. And the xtra ; didn't work btw.Please help.

Your code has a ( instead of a { at the beginning.

oh, hmm, that's a typo here. It's not like that in the real css file, and it still doesn't work.

Okay others have been helping you but I thought I might as well...YOURS:H1 ( font-weight: bold; text-align: center; font-size: 1.0em }MINE:H1 { font-weight: 700; text-align: center; font-size: 10px }I know there is no difference but it might work ? Or have others already worked out correctly for you ?

Sorry 4 the late reaction, I had an error in my css before that line so that is why it didn't work. Thx for the help anyway .
