I think it's time to take a little break from moderating. Lets do it here
. Share some recent happenings. Thoughts, just get it off your mind. It seems we don't have a "General" chat thread in the staff forum. . Apart from moderating - what's going on with everyone?Spring break for me...w00t. Now I get to do nothing for a week! I'm so excited. Actually, tonight, around 10ish me and my sister are ganna go out and just have fun. Going to crash at her place afterwards. Then tomorrow I'm going to see the movie "300" with her. Gee, since my sister moved out I don't see her much. What's up with you guys?
Ah... a good way to unwind from this clustered forum. Good call.I will be making my way down to New York City soon. I think I am getting relocated there for a while. This means that I may be out of touch for a week or two during my move. I will let you know as soon as I get some kind of established place and have the first chance to plug in :lol:Normally I would not leave in this hurry to a new place (although I lived my childhood there) but this promotion--if I can call it that--would mean that I finally get to have "Director of Research and Development" in my resume ha ha ha. It's all about the rank...all about the rank.I will be representing my company and part hosting CineVegas in the month of June. So for all those who are near Las Vegas come and see me and I will show you some good times; my way
Well, I'm at a crossroads (literally, if you knew my street address).I need to get motivated and back into the Work World. I have had too much "time off" this winter and Spring building season will soon be happening, so expect me to be less active. I have no actual commitments yet for the Season. If I stay local, I will be around, but I occasionally take an out of town job... so, I will keep you posted.Congrats on the promotion, BH. I don't know exactly what you do, but that will likely look good on your resume... (looks for the squiggly thingie)And hope you spent some QT with sis, Kubi...
I'm kind of infatuated with 3 girls currently, one being my on again off again girlfriend, two others being taken, one of which dating my best friend. That sounds SO SO WRONG in writing, but when I'm around any of them, my faulty voice and weak knees seem to disagree.EDIT: Oh, and I got a job posting ads for a furniture store. It's relatively boring, but easy money. And I can sit here and play on trap all day. <3EDIT 2: Also I've been diagnosed as socially anxious and clinically depressed. I need meds yo.
eh, rough times for chris. work sucks, school is time consuming, and girlfriend is going suicidal because of her sociopath stepdad who grounds her from seeing me every other month, and then moves so i can't see her often no matter what.. although this week hasn't been too straining..
This will be my last day packing and moving. I'm sorry that I have not been around. I will go about it as usual as soon as I settle down.I'm sorry that I have to run...
s'ok, BH, we'll find you if we need to...
been just lying low in the boards for the past week. i'm obsessed configuring and testing out the features of my new 3G cellphone, googling and enabling applications to make it cooler. it's what's been occupying my time that is why i was not actively doing any mod work in the meantime.also, i'm quietly observing the "holy week" (at least i try to ), and i might not be able to post and help out until after easter sunday already. nonetheless, advanced happy easter to everyone; go easter egg hunting! we'll cross roads again after this week.
Road Trip for today and Sunday, Won't be around much. Just letting you know that. The Hotel probably has wireless, so I'll check-in later if at all possible. Off to the bright lights of the Big City... wish me luck... at not getting blinded....
It looks as though I'm bringing bad weather wherever I go. NYC was sunny and bright but when I got here, all of sudden NYC is cold, rainy and possibly snow this weekend??!!It's middle of April, for crying out loud! I moved away from Buffalo to get away from snow and cold weather...but looks like I can't escape this curse. It's the end of the world, I tell yas!
It is a balmy plus 17C here were it should be snowing... Nice sunshine, faint breeze wafting across the horizon... (rubs it in)... of course, it'll be minus 2 overnight, but... I'll be sleeping through that...
It was hailing baseballs and a tornado touched down ten minutes from my house yesterday.
I was looking for "CHECK-IN" topic but I can't find it.I will be in Las Vegas, NV from June 1 thru June 22nd, 2007. The first week I will be throwing a bachelor's party for my good buddy, who is doing all us men a favor and decided to marry this girl--finally--and the rest of weeks I'll be there for some business I have to take care. You are, if near by, welcome to give me a PM or shout and I'll invite you Luxar's bachelor's party
Well, if not at least my thoughts will be with you all.I won't be able to get in touch with my normal admin duties from June 10~15. Please be aware. Velma is capable of approving hosting requests but I believe it is better for newbies that admin gives the final word. Velma knows this But if it gets very backed up and OpaQue is no where in immediate sight, Velma has the control over approvals. But it's only 5 days so I don't know... well, at least it's my contingency plan. The Memorial Day weekend celebration isn't going to be great it seems. A friend of mine and his wife finally decided to call it a quits last Tuesday. And they (back then) invited out-of-town guests to be in for the weekend party. Not to mention the money spent but those people will be notified with some shocking news.Anyway, enjoy the weekend (at least here in US) and I will be in touch very shortly. All hosting support should always go to support@Xisto.com withsubject: hosting supportbody: --cpanel:--domain name:--detailed description of the problemor catch Velma
Have fun Buffalo! Don't drink to much. Enjoy that party. Hopefully nothing blows up when you leave.
Have fun Buffalo, we'll do our best to turn this ship away from icebergs, to keep it afloat, to keep it's decks clean and brass-work shining, to keep the sails full of hot air
- you get the general idea :)Have a GREAT time!!
It is raining here everyday quite heavily so traveling has been a bit tough but is fun No doubt
I travel in a bus so everyday becomes an adventure.
I had recently been to a cousin's wedding and it rained for 18-20 hours
It was freaky as guests were expected and many were coming by road to the location which is a hill station pretty much. It was great though for I saw a cousin of mine after 17 years and I discovered I had two nephews I never knew about
Hey.I am presently traveling to Vancouver Island for the weekend, so I won't be on-line very much until Tuesday night. Just thought everyone should be advised.

hello peepz. i just dropped by to advise everybody that i will be missing in action online for sometime. my grandmother suffered a heavy stroke last tuesday, and was brought to the hospital since she wasn't able to respond and move. she's in intensive care unit, fell into coma, but again last friday afternoon, she suffered another stroke and was brought in for another battery of tests. the doctors have ruled out that she'll recover from this now since a blood vessel in her brain has burst already and blood is now spreading unruly. they said that all hope is lost, and we have simply have to accept the fact that she'll be leaving to meet the creator any time soon. it could be a day or two, the doctors said, when her body will finally succumb. our family has decided to give her her final dose of medicines which will ease her pain, a last ditch effort, even if we know that it will not prolong her life much longer. we can't bear to unplug her from the machines which are keeping her barely alive, as doctors have suggested. but even if we are hoping for a miracle, we also know the inevitable will soon arrive. in this regard, i ask for a silent prayer for my grandmother from you all whom i have considered a part of my family on Xisto. she's already old (she just turned 88 last june 18), and her body is very frail (she was bedridden for more than two years after an earlier stroke), so we've come to accept that her journey through life is just about over... family duties beckon. but i will soon be back.
