johnsmith 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 (edited) I kinda liked the site...It's simple and efficient the way I like it....But others may not find that state of emptiness that much great...Still, the site naturally is missing its content....Till it is full with it, it's hard to rate anything more...Also what cms is that ?Ps. biscuitrat 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2006 It's kinda funny, I've used that Mambo template so much while working on one site that I can't forget it now. I like the colors, but johnsmith is right - it's a bit bland. For one, the background is a dark gray, not a dark teal which is the scheme of the rest of the site. Pull some orange into the template, just like the color of your links on the side menu. And don't use just text as a logo; add a shape in there, headphones, a music note, something to brighten it up a little bit. The link colors are black, which is very hard to read on the dark blue. Make them white (preferably), and clean up the content a bit. If you don't need a section in Mambo, you can always take it out. Good luck Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Plenoptic 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2006 I like the design. The banner is pretty cool, the colors around the template fit nicely. I also agree though on making the links a different color so they are easier to see. Dark links or any text is hard to see on a dark background. I would change the forum colors though as well to match the site, or at least make them closer. You go from darker blue colors to white. Other than that it looks really nice. I signed up, just make me a mod when you want.Just some remarks:-If you want pass me this banner, and I think I can make some text and flash effect, I can put a preloader too if you want.-The words in black are unreadable because the site is in dark colors also.-It would be much better if you added some bright colors, I always loved the sky-blue-Some of the Login form elements are extremely tight together, plus why I feel that all boxes and tables are very very tight to each other, leave some space between them.Good luck!
