Are you sure that is the right spelling for the website address? I've tried to go to that page, but I can't seem to get it to display. Anyway, I'll look back here in a bit to see if the link is changed.

The site right now has a few good points. It has nice navigation, color wise and the expanding is nice as well. I don't really like the grey at the top, or or the gray at all for that matter. It looks ok but I think it might be too dark I am not quite sure. The colors don't seem to fit the way they are right now. I'd try to put in more blue and less grey.

I checked out http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I think that is the site you are referring to?

If it is I only have a few suggestions. I dont really like how the gray from the center body section flows to the left side navigation area. I see the links are a different color, but the information below them seems to get lost a little bit because they are the same color as the middle of the page (the gray color) I like the links above the header, look nice up there. I really like the navigation label sections too, where you have "Members Area", "Last Forum Post", ect. The white and silver is very appealling in my opinion.

One recommendation: When ever you click on a page other than the home page index the box around the "John's Upcoming Projects" section looks to get cut off a little bit on the bottom part, something to consider. Maybe its just in Firefox, but you have to remember alot of people are using Mozilla these days...

Looks good, maybe liven the colors up a little bit to create a little more excitement when looking at the page. I know I'm not one to talk really, considering Plug Computers is mostly black, silver, and white, but its a good combination for me I believe.

I have a couple of minor suggestions, but mainly the design is OK. The four links across the top are in an odd order, most sites have Home then News then the others, whereas they're at the end here. There is nothing to say you have to do that, it just makes browsing a little easier if people get what they expect. In the Last Forum Posts section on the left, some of them have been pushed to fit within about half the width of that box, while others extend all the way across. Also, if it was slightly wider, you could fit the dates on one line, rather than AM or PM dropping to a new line. With the menu on the left, there is no background to the links that pop out when you mouse over certain sections. The result is that the text of the links and of the main section of the site merge, making it difficult to read either of them. Consider adding a grey background to the links that appear on mouseover so that they are easier to read. The colour combination is relatively good, easy on the eye. You've carried it through to the forums, which is good, although the blue has suddenly become a lot more vibrant. It really stands out and I would perhaps tone it down to fit more with the blue used on the main site and to prevent people leaving as it is way too bright.

First of all that script that stops you from pressing back is very annoying, and unless you have a good reason to have it I would not recommend having it on your site. The design is ok, although the logo's is physically too compressed and it does not match the rest of the site well. The contrast between the text and the background doesn't facilitate easy reading, but that could be ok if you are targeting your site at teens. Just make sure you don't have large paragraphs for people to read with that setting because people will be bothered to do it.
