Make Calls From The Internet? How can I make calls from the internet?

Could you please let me know..How can I make calls from the internet? I know some of the tools like skype with which we can call any landline number within a country..!!

is there any tool with which I can make calls to mobiles and to any country?

Most of the internet calling tools will let you do that, however thats usually a paid feature and not a free one. I would assume that you can call mobile phones, how is the program going to know whether the number is mobile or a landline? If you find a program that can call internationally for free, post it here please.

There are many softwares can call landline phones and mobile phones.But the best one I think is skype.I have used some other voip programmes, at the beginning they are free, this is really very attractive, but their tone quality can't let me satisfied. And sometimes when you are still talking it suddenly stopped working. Some of these programmes even totally disppeared after a few months.But skype is excellent,though you have to pay some money it is still very cheap and convenient especially when you make many calls everyday.

some are with fee and others are free but very limited. my advise to you is to use a messenger with a call option like yahoo messenger. much more efficient and free too!

i usee ksafone in saudiarabia to call from pc to landline. but it is not free,cheap though.

I used to use this free program, I forget what it's called, it was free and I used to prank call people! It was pretty fun!

Yeah, there used to be a lot of free programs for this kind of stuff...Doesn't MSN messanger still allow it? I'm not 100% sure on that but I'm pretty sure I saw a way to do it in there the last time I looked.Aside from that there's some thing a guy made..I'll have to find the link sometime, where you can actually get free long distance and the phone line is like $10 a year or so. It seemed too good to be true but after looking it up and all I found out it was legitimate.

You can call to mobile from your own mobile using voip. Ksafone and ksafonesupreme allows that. You just have to have a compatible nokia series to download software to your phone and make phone calls. Better still if you are calling to india , pakistan or bangladesh - just dial 89 then the number you wish to call with the country code. Its cheaper. Sound quality is beautiful. This only works in saudi to other countries, fyi. Its in the market since 2000. If you want to know more how it works

There are some website that allows you to send sms free. But making phone calls to mobile phone, this is something new to me.

the best is skype i think or its the best.if from pc to pc then you can use yahoo or msn messenger but then also i will prefer skype but you have to spend some bucks for it.
