New Site Needing A Review and some suggestions

Ok so i bought a new domain and am VERY happy with it http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ so i have partnered it with phpbb and created this site except for the lack of members please can i have some suggested improvements.

Down the entire right hand side of the forum, there is no border, so see if you can get the border to appear there. perhaps you could also get your banner to fit in better with your colour scheme. The whole forum is blue, yet your banner is red and orange with a white background. I've also just noticed, browsing other pages of the forum, that the design does seem to destroy itself on the right hand edge, with various weird images and bits of the forum appearing, which you really should look into. Other than that the design is good and it looks clean and professional.

This site is quite nice but you need to fix the right side of the forum. Also since your logo is orange and white, i think you should make a custom theme which looks similar. Also a cool portal would make the site even better. Another thing, that there is no ads on it, this wont make a big difference but if you use text ads if may up your page rank up (if you got good meta tags). Antoher thing which looked odd is that you have not enough forum topics i would add to this by putting ageneral forum and 'For-Sale' forum. You could make money out of this by asking for some $$$$ for an offer which a member posts. Otherwise your forum is great and i hope to see it expand over the comnig months.

Ya as rvalkass stated, with that border missing it sort of ruins the design. The banner let alone doesn't match but it could use some more excitement in there. I mean it is just text and a car with a white background. I would spice it up a bit. If you were to go to your forum without the banner you wouldn't know it was car related. The banner is very important and it should catch the eye. I mean not catch it by making it stand out because of color but have some more detail.

Ok i have looked over the site and i see what you all mean by the banner, is there a program that i can use to find the hex code for theat color?I cant see what you mean about the border, on my coputer it looks fine and normal, it may be because it is wide screen ill check it out on my sistersGem as you said i have added adsence and integrated its colors as closely as i could without a hex color identifier.I am going to redisign the banner to match the colors better, does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it more exciting?

that is a very nice tmeplate etc.I dont particually like the banner, very simple font, I like everything to be extravagant but that just may be me. Apart from that its all good!

Alright so I figured out that the reason why the border looks messed up to us is because we are using Firefox or another browser. It may look fine to you in Internet Explorer but in other web browsers it doesn't meaning it wasn't something you have done but there is something wrong in the coding and unless you can find the bug you really can't fix it.

Wow i like that theme- Is it free or must you purchase it? Very nice job! Also you should apply your site to google ads - I can see a future in your forum =)good luck

lol whoever sed to get vBulletin, some people dont wana pay money, or they wana make some money from google ads and then buy a vBulletin lisxense

the big thing is that your logo is too wide. Cut off some of the extra space on the right hand side. Id suggest making it no more than 800 pixels wide. That will make viewing your site lots easier
