Windows Live Qna Open to Everyone in US

Recommended Posts

Check out this email I received a few hours ago:

Windows Live™ QnA Beta lets you ask questions of - and share your knowledge with - people just like you. By adding peoples' experiences and expertise to online search, QnA can give you more than data. It can give you the kind of insight you'd get from a trusted friend or neighbor. Looking for a great dentist, how to hang new kitchen cabinets, the best place for a kids birthday party? Somebody out there already knows - and you probably know some of the answers they're looking for.

Try it for yourself, help others - and let us know what you think.

Click here to try the QnA beta today.

Once you have oriented yourself and explored the QnA beta site:

Ask at least 5 well-formed questions, provide 5 credible answers and vote 5 times to select a best answer. Strive for quality. Your questions and answers will also be appearing as Windows Live Search results in the future-so you'll be helping people beyond those who use QnA.

Go back to the site regularly to close out the questions you've asked by selecting the best answer or add comments on the growing content. Your opinion counts! Your votes on other people's answers are important to keeping the quality bar high.

Let us know how we can improve through the beta feedback forms. You know best - we want to hear it all!

If you have a question about the service and want to ask the QnA team, you can post it on QnA and tag it with "QnA team." We will be watching for questions with this tag and will strive to answer all of them personally. Finally, if you have any questions or comments about the beta program, please send them to the Beta Team.

Go get 'em! - The QnA Team

*Note: This beta is only available to US residents who have US English as the default in the language setting of their internet browser.

It is only available to US residents, I'm not a US resident. Maybe that's because the URL has an error message when I accept the Terms and Conditions?

If you are in the US, check it out.

I think this is just another imitation of Yahoo! Answers, see my post on Yahoo! Answers here.
