I'm not liking this members posts:
He seems to make small comments on different things, but never really contribute anything to the topic. I'm hesitant about giving him a warning or suspending posting or anything, because it's not blatant spamming, but I think he should get some sort of punishment...
Maybe I'm crazy.
Yeah, I'd give him a warning.. There are a few 1 - 2 word posts, and that's spamming. Happy birthday.
I will not adjust the warning level! At first I'll simply PM him and will ask him to make sure that if he wants to say anything in the forum through posts then he will need to contribute, else he can simply use Shoutbox for saying "That's good" (in case he is having the urge of saying it in the forum
"Simply, PM him & keep an eye on his post...for few days & if still fails..adjust the warning!
Some of his posts are good, for example, saying that Godaddy offers domains for 8.99$, but the problem is, most of his posts are just like "Thanks for the information it's cool".
I'd give him a warning. For the posts that are "Thanks for this" I'd give a warning. I mean, it really doesn't contribute anything to the topic. Just send him a PM, verbal warning. Tell him next offence is a warn! Hopefully he'll stopBTW, happy late b-day Johnny.
Sort of off topic:
Wow this member has a 70% warn.... by almost every moderator: http://forums.xisto.com/user/4229-mpodner/
There's got to be a way to make warns more.... powerful? Some people post for the hosting, they don't care about warnings. Perhaps warnings should be able to.... like reduce the number of credits you get from posts, or delete a certain amount of credits when warned... or reducing more credits each day so that people post more quality posts.
And posting more quality posts DOES have the ability to REDUCE warnings, since the more famous you are in the forums, the more of a chance a moderator will see your good posts and reduce your warnings.
Sounds logical to meAwesome idea, in my opinion. This would definitely be a way to make warnings more purposeful, and it would keep our members making quality posts, as I've noticed lately that things seem to be a lot more lax than I'd prefer.

Thanks all for the birthday wishes, btw.
