To make a new variable (declare a new variable):

Type the statement:

var x;

where x is the name of the variable;

To put some data in already made (declared):

x = "data";

The statement must end with a " ; ".

and whats the use of this?

ya what is the use of this......BTW its better if you specify the data type:eg.var x:Number:)
