From the past Five years google has completely changed the way it was . I mean today Google is rather the ruler of the internet. Each new Item brought up by Google creates Craze like madness among people on the net. This is just the craze few years ago that once even Yahoo! enjoyed.People today are going mad for google stuff like GMail,Google Earth , Orkut, and of course its SEARCH ENGINE.Also not to forget about that GMail is still in the BETA stage. Google sure knws how to keep the craze on . Adsense was the biggest hit ever . It earns nearly 95% of its revenue of 1 Billion from the from the ADSENSE. So Following suite even Yahoo! jumped in the competition and has developed Yahoo! Publishers which is still rather in the BETA stage and so only The U.S. citizens can participate in it and not us . What do you think about this will Yahoo give a tough comeback against Google or will it rather stay in the second position? Will Yahoo Prove to be a Coup-de- grace to Google Inc. ?Who Prefers google over yahoo ::::If u favour google then give more ratings to it.

Google guys are very smart and have created a kind of craze for users to get their services. What you have just said is quite true. Google does know how to advertise itself and became a brand on it's own. People started trusting Google after, mostly its powerful and popular search engine - the Google search. It is a very hard judgement because both the internet companies are not exactly the same. Their expertize is also not exactly the same. Yahoo is a portal that offers many things including Yahoo small business which deals with domain registration and website hosting, this initiative has not been launched by Google at the moment. Also Yahoo has Yahoo Music where many people are buying and listening music as well. Google hasn't exactly explored this area as well. And where Google is making billions in a thing like adsense, yahoo is beta again. So, it's hard to pronounce our verdict on these two giants of internet. So, far I've noticed that Google is more successful in whatever features or new stuffs that they have to offer due to their different approach - be it Gmail, Gtalk or Google Earth. In my personal opinion I would have preferred Google over Yahoo.

Google is, hands down, the better of the two, they started out as just a search engine and surpassed the internet giant Yahoo! relatively quickly, they have new and exiting ideas about old things and they deserve the title of Internet ruler.

I personally like Google more, the site is more organized and Yahoo takes a long time to load. I used Google ever since a long time and I like Google. I have the Search Bar of Google.GMAIL > YAHOOMAIL.By all means, GOOGLE WINS on my view! :) me a dork ? NEVER! .. shush :)

Google wins this hands down! As far as Google Search goes Yahoo does not even come close with the amount of relevant results. Gmail is better than Yahoo Mail it has double the space and way more features. As far as Geocities verses Google Pages Google wins again with professional templates and no ads. Google just does everything right not even computer giant Microsoft can compete with it. Google is just a great company with ideas that really made it take off. The stuff I mentioned is just a little of what Google does best.

Google would be the obvious answer. Yahoo has been outstanding in its own ways, but i think Google is a pioneer. Remember, yahoo used to give 4MB storage space for its mail users. But when Google introduced Gmail, yahoo was forced to increase its storage quota to 25MB,250MB and now we have 1GB. So maybe if google starts developing browsers or an OS !!!! :) we would have quality emerging among other brands too. It is the fear that google evokes aming competetors that makse google soo special.PS: GOOGLE ROCKS !!!

Also i prefer the google searc, it's quick easy and always gives me the pages i want

Another one of these kinds of topics again? Hm... Considering the myriad of interesting and helpful services Google has compared to Yahoo!, I suppose Google might be better. But I mean... how can you compare companies with DIFFERENT services (come on, Yahoo! doesn't have everything Google has and vice versa)?
