Computinghost.com ( an Xisto company) offers domains for $7.99 per year if you want a dot info, or $9.99 per year for a dot com. That is about as cheap as you will find right now. Yahoo! Small Business used to have a cheaper Plan, but it is no longer available.

Purchasing it through Xisto - Web Hosting also supports this Forum, as it is the same ownership, too.

Another possibility is RegisterFly but the .com extensions are $9.99 and the .info extensions are on sale right now for only $2.99 each. They also accept Paypal. It's the service I am using and you have complete domain control.

Amit you can try netfirms.com for domain registration. They are giving dot com domain for around 4-5 dollars. They have good support as I am using their service at this point of time and I find that they are good in dealing with customers.

Got a link for that? When I looked, it was $9.99 per year. Yahoo! Small Business, right?

Oh wow...i was also thinking same as jlhaslip ..that yahoo had some special discount for some limited period and now the prices are about 9 $.. but this link

https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/domains?p=227&PID=1502580

that link seems to be upto date.. anyway thats good..

Domain registration discount offer is open to new customers who purchase a Yahoo! Domain and applies only to the first year. Domains discount fee offer expires on and must be redeemed prior to 6/30/2006. Domains discount fee offers expire without notice. All offers are open to new Yahoo! Small Business customers only, and are only available through Yahoo! Small Business. Customers are limited to one Offer per customer on a single account for customer's own purchase only and is non-transferable, and may not be combined with other offers and discounts, exchanged or redeemed for cash. Other terms and conditions apply; see the Yahoo! Small Business Terms of Service when you sign up. Yahoo! expressly reserves the right to change the price or features of these services in its sole discretion at any time.

As far as I am concerned, 1&1 (https://www.1and1.com/) has the best prices. For now, at least, .info domains are free for one year, and the major ones (.com, .net, .org, maybe some others) are $5.99 a year. They also include free domais with their hosting packages (the number of free domains you get depends on the price of the hosting package), but who wouldn't want Xisto's great hosting?
