Admin And Mod's Note Bbcode For Ipb Note Feature

Ok you know how the mods and admins comment on posts with the notes feature. Is that something someone has created by themselves and giving it to this BB or is it a mod/tool feature that I can get of invisionize.com? If anyone can help or give me some suggestions that would be great!

You can start with Invisionize's modules. Our NOTE BBcodes were then customized by microscopic^earthling for looks and other small behavior of the actual tag. If you understand IPB and PHP, then those modules downloaded are fully customizable.

This is the site run by microscopic^earthling and he allows you to download the tag from there!

Ok, one more thing. When I'm about to install this do I have to install the Invisionize version and change it with microscopic^earthling's stuff, or where do I upload this mod and stuff, or do I add it under the BBCode Manage? Well, I am not sure about rest of the stuff..wheather will it work with the version you have or how exactly to install it..sorry I've never tried it.I think the best thing will be if you ask this question at antilost community itself! Ok.... I think I will PM m^e, and see what he has to say. I hope he does not mind or anything. But lets see what he says, and maybe I can write some tutorial on this b/c I noticed others were looking at it and wanted to add it to there bulletin boards. But I have no knowledge in PHP and CSS.

When you download m^e's version you have to do two following things:1) access your ACP and update the new BBcode tag (make new then add scripts accordingly)2) access your forum root (via FTP) and upload two files: CSS and JPG image file under the directory that #1 script calls to.And that's it. Since the customized NOTE tag is the work of m^e, I cannot post his script on this forum without his permission. Thanks for understanding.

Actually with just simple CSS, HTML and Javascript, you can also customise your own tags to be used on the boards.I used to do that to my board and I find it very interesting to do it. Especially when you make something really attractive, such as the border is the picture of a lady's leg sticking out, or the background of your tag can be a lock in greyscale or something. Its just designs that you launch your own creativity.

Well can I appoint someone to do it and give them hosting credits? Or can someone have m^e post here (after all its his script) or can someone tell me with a little bit more instruction?

I'd check with Buffalohelp or Microscopic^earthling. They are probably the most experienced members for this task. And neither of them need the credits, lol, so it might turn out well for you...
