Your parents still love you, and that's what counts. Who cares if they give you money? Just spend the money on stuff you want. And if they don't give you that much, it means that you're growing up and that they shouldn't really spoil you anymore.

My mother hinted that she'd buy me a new cellphone, nothing high-end, just a standard cp with sms and call functions. I've been wanting to replace my old one since I have it for 3 years already. My monitor is getting worse so I might ask her for a replacement, only I'd wish it would be bigger maybe 17 inches? Heh I want an mp3 player also but I think the phone and the monitor would do for now.

I'm hopefully only getting the one present (sounds crazy I know, but considering its a PSP I'm very very happy to settle for the one present). So while I am not getting a huge pile of presents I suppose I am getting a lot for Christmas, anyway it might just be me but I preer one big gift to lots of little ones (theres less mess that way :P )

Hey im also just getting cash or am i? But i'd rather get cash and buy stuff after xmas when all the prices drop.. Like instead of getting small stuff you can also add it to other cash thus getting bigger, better xmas presents.

This year I'm getting stuff that pertains to my bass building; a few router bits, routing templates, carbon fiber rods, etc. The only big thing (expensive) I'm getting is a nice 4" leather bass strap. It costs around $100 and has a talkbass.com logo on it.

Well i always loved xmas as it is the most special and magical time of the year for me. When i was little i got loots of presents but mostly after a few weeks I only needed just a few of them and others were forgotten! So now i usually get money or i tell "santa" exactly what i want and i get that...it is not a surprise anymore, but i still prefer that there is gift under the tree and then all my family gathers around it listenin to xmas music and opening gifts...I really love those moments - sooo special and nice...If you only get money this is no problem, i usually get it too...THE REAL THING CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT ARE THOSE MAGICAL MOMENTS AROUND THE TREE WHEN YOU JUST HAVE TO LOVE EACH OTHER! I also think xmas gives you the oportunity to think a bit deeper thoughts and tryto back off from the normal daily live - it is more spiritual...greetz & MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERBODY :P

Nah man they love you.. its just that your getting older and it is harder to find what someone your age would want. why dont you tell your parents what you want for christmas like in october/november so they have an idea.. dunno really but thats what i do :P any way have a nice christmas :P
