hey hi man.. yeah me.. if u just downloaded the Flash Media Server 2 and not using the Communications Server i dont know if it helps...ok i suppose u already have something done in Com if not well it doesnt matter but the folders used to "publish" ur work are under the Flash Communication Server and look for Applications and u'll see the swf of all samples applications it means it is the place where u have to leave a copy of ur swf in order to be useful in html runtime so u might ask urself "so do i have to leave a copy of my swf and also leave the swf with the html file?" and the answer is yeah.. u should..hope it helps..cheers!

hi man! im really sorry about the time but i didnt find this post... well why dont u tell me what u are really doing...is it a chat or something?...i feel force to tell you that i do use win 2003 and well it has run but i think it would be the samething running it over apache or IIS beacause the server is not passing any info directly to the swf are you?... if u are mmm well i tell you buddy it should be run because the swf is a file that doesnt belong to apache... btw check Jive Messenger server too... i think i'll deploy with this server due to the price and extra things..check my newest posts...cheers!

Yah thats what I'm upto a chat app. I was going to start off with the samples, and after I figured out how to go public with them edit the fla files with my own logos, and so on. I see flash com is already installed in apache. I had a small set back this week as I had to do a reformat. I used to use 98se,and have upgraded to xp pro now so I have a learnning curve that I'm going though as well as trying to learn how servers work, and thier setups.Every thing that I have on my machine was free including my os I'm a cheap operator.....lol. I'm going to upgrade to the version 8 softwear from macromedia on this freash os install.May I add you to my friends list sanbeand?
